ABOUT THIS GUIDE
- This document provides instructions to install the TC Series thermostat configuration wizard.
- To take full advantage of the information in this guide, users must have training or experience working with the Niagara N4 software.
NOTE:
Fig. 1 shows Thermostat Configuration Wizard for TC500A, Same setting applicable for TC300 also.

The TC Series wizard does not require additional licensing apart from the controllers or supervisor license.
Installing TC Thermostat Configuration Wizard Modules on the Controller
NOTE:
The installation procedure for the TC500A and TC300 thermostats is the same. Configuring the TC500A is shown in this document for reference.
The configuration procedure for the TC300 is the same as the configuration procedure for the TC500A.
- Connect to the Platform and double click on the Software Manager.
- Select and install the ‘honeywellTCThermostatWizard’ module.
Status must change from “Not Installed” to “Up to Date.” - Launch the station.
Adding the TC Series Device to the Station
Install the modules on the controller as described above and connect to the station.
NOTE:
The TC Series Thermostat Configuration Wizard is a BACnet device. Add and configure a BACnet network before adding it to the station.
- Navigate to Window > Side Bars > Palette to open the palette pane. The palette pane displays on the lower-left side.
- Click on the
(Open Palette) option to display the palette window.
- Type’ honeywellTCThermostatWizard’ in the filter field, select the module and then click Ok.
- 4. Using the palette, navigate to the ‘honeywellTCThermostatWizard’ module in the workbench.
NOTE:
A user can use the workbench or a browser to configure the TC Series Thermostat Configuration Wizard via the configuration wizard. - Drag and drop the TC500 or TC300 device under the Station > Config > Drivers > BacnetNetwork in the Nav tree.
- Double-click on the TC500 or TC300 device to open the configuration Wizard.
NOTE:
To avoid the [web.reporting.csp] error in the application director output, navigate to Services > WebService > HttpHeaderProviders > Content- SecurityPolicy and configure the font-src property with the following text ‘self’ workbench data:
