G175 Alloy 5 Section Monopod
PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
GVM-G175 is a new-released Monopod with Fluid Video Head specially designed for videographers and filmmakers by GVM.
The 5-section design can meet users’ different demands for height from 645mm / 25.4″ to 1870mm / 73.6″ under various shooting environments. Payload 10 kg / 22Ibs and fast release plate provide compatibility and convenience for fast mounting and dismounting most cameras and camcorders on the market. The press-type button on the monopod makes converting vertical and tilted convenient.
The damping force can be adjusted by rotating the damping and ball locking knob for a better shooting experience. The included quick-release plate with 1/4″ and 3/8” screws makes camera changes and transport easy.

PRODUCT STRUCTURE ANALYSIS
INSTALLATION METHOD
First insert 1 rocker arm into 2, then pass 3 through 4, insert 5 and pass through the groove of the rocker handle, install it on the left or right of the head according to individual needs, adjust to the appropriate angle and tighten 6, you can lock the rocker handle on the gimbal.
FUNCTION INTRODUCTION & INSTRUCTION
- QR Plate
An included quick release plate makes camera changes and transport easy. Each QR plate comessite both a 1/4″ & 3/8″ screw for your convenience. The unused screw is stored on the unused screw isstored on the underside of the head.
- QR Plate Mounting and Safety Release
Loosen Quick Release Plate Lock Lever and press the QR Safety Button to allow of Camera using the Mounting Screw then slide back on to Head. Slideand position for best balance and tighten QR Plate Lock Lever.
- Tilt adjustment&Pan adjustment
A side mounted knob adjusts the tension of the drag on front-rear. Tile movements. Rotate to adjust with a camera mounted to find the most appropriate setting.
A pan Drag / Lock Lever provides both Drag and Locking control of horizontal head movement.
- Leg Section Adjustment
Through open or lock the buckle to adjust the height forthis video monopod.
- Support foot vertical and tilt adjustment
The monopod can be vertical and tilted by pressing the button.When the monopod is vertical, you can press the buttonto make it tilted for shooting conveniently. If you want to makethe monopod vertical, press the button again.
- Support foot damping adjustment
When the monopod is vertical or tilted, the damping force canbe adjusted by rotating the damping and ball locking knob for abetter shooting feel.
- Support foot angle adjustment
The support foot has two gear positions, which can be adjusted by pressing the button in order to adjust the supporting angles.
It is convenient for different scenes shooting.

It is not necessary to do regular lubrication , but if required, the standard lubricant oils and grease is ok for the equipment. |

After using in the wet, dusty, sandy, windy days, it isrecommentded to clean and dry the tripod with soft cloth. The dirt, dust, and sand in all leg locks, threads, should be removed after use. Clean with mild detergent or alcohol. |
