Product Usage Instructions
Installation:
- Remove the 4 windshield bolts and windshield. Set aside in a safe location.
- Remove the vent by pulling straight up on the vent. Set aside in a safe location.
- Locate and disconnect the left and right side turn signal harness four pin JAE connectors.
- Remove the socket head bolts from the outside of each turn signal housing with a 3/16 Allen wrench.
- Remove both left and right lower T-25 torx bolts from the bottom of each fairing chin spoiler.
- The speaker grills are held in by clips. Remove both left and right speaker grills on the inner fairing by pushing outwards from the inside of the speaker grill.
- Once the speaker grills are removed, locate and remove the T -27 torx bolts in each corner of the speaker housing. Once the bolts are removed, the outer fairing will be separated from the inner fairing.
- Locate the two data plugs that are on the top front of the factory headlamp and press them away from their mounting tabs.
Cleaning Instructions:
- Take special care in cleaning the finish. Never use abrasive polishes or cleaners as these can scratch the finish.

Safety Information
ATTENTION
Please read all Information below before the Installation.
Warning
- Disconnect the negative battery cable from battery; refer to owner’s manual. Failure to do so may result in electrical shock, injury or fire.
- Secure negative battery cable away from positive side of battery and all other positive voltage sources on vehicle.
Safety First
- Make sure the bike is parked on a level surface and bike‘s mechanical components are cool to the touch.
Note: Complies with SAE and DOT Standards for High and Low Beam Motorcycle Headlamps.
Note: Some technical knowledge may be needed for this installation. Consult your vehicle detailed service manual for instructions on removing the front fairing and for electrical wiring information. If the steps contained within are beyond your skillset, do not attempt installation, contact a qualified mechanic or dealership to assist you.
Cleaning

Installation
- Remove the 4 windshield bolts and windshield. Set aside in a safe location. Shown in Figure 1.
- Remove the vent by pulling straight up on the vent. The vent is held in with clips and will pop off. Set aside in a safe location. Shown in Figure 2.
- Locate and disconnect the left and right side turn signal harness four pin JAE connectors. Shown in Figure 3.
- Remove the socket head bolts from the outside of each turn signal housing with a 3/16” Allen wrench. Shown in Figure 4.
- Remove both left and right lower T-25 torx bolts from the bottom of each fairing chin spoiler. Shown in Figure 5.
- The speaker grills are held in by clips. Remove both left and right speaker grills on the inner fairing by pushing outwards from the inside of the speaker grill. Shown in Figure 6.
- Once the speaker grills are removed, locate and remove the T -27 torx bolts in each corner of the speaker housing. Once the bolts are removed the outer fairing will be separated from the inner fairing. Set the fairing aside in a safe location to prevent damage. Shown in Figure 7.
- Locate the two data plugs that are on the top front of the factory headlamp and press them away from their mounting tabs. Shown in Figure 8.
- Locate the four socket head bolts that secure the factory headlamp to the mounting plate. Shown in Figure 9A. Remove four bolts with a 3/16” Allen wrench and unplug headlight. Shown in Figure 9B.
- Use two of the factory socket head Allen bolts from step 9 at the top of the Mounting Plate. Shown in Figures 10A & 10B.
- Connect the RG-HL-Y Wiring Adapter into the factory headlight connector. Shown in Figure 11A. Route RG-HL-Y Wiring Adapter behind the Mounting Plate. Shown in Figure 11B. Note: The two pin connector is designed for the Auxiliary Handlebar Mounted On/Off Switch CD P/N: CD-AUX-UNV (Sold Separately) to control the left side lamp separately.
- Install both Shark Demon™ 2 LED Headlights onto the Left and Right Mounting Brackets with the eight M6- 1.0 x 14mm Hex Head and Flat washers. Note: Orient the Shark Demon™ 2 LED Headlight with the words “Top” at the top when installed on the Mounting Bracket. Shown in Figure 12.
- Connect the Shark Demon™ 2 LED Headlight assemblies to the RG-HL-Y Wiring Adapter. Shown in Figure 13A. The connector with the two pin amp jumper should route to the left (clutch side). Mount both Shark Demon™ 2 LED Headlight assemblies onto the Mounting Plate with the four M6-1.0 x 14mm Socket Head and Split Lock Washers. Shown in Figure 13B.
- Reconnect the negative battery cable and test high beam, low beam operation and Auxiliary Handlebar Mounted On/ Off Switch if installed. Aim both headlights by pivoting the Shark Demon™ 2 LED Headlight assemblies on the Mounting Brackets. It may be necessary to loosen the eight M6- 1.0 x 14mm Hex Head from Step 12. Scan the QR code below for specific instructions on proper measurements for aiming. Shown in Figure 14.
- Install Weatherstripping by sliding into place at the top of the Faceplate. Shown in Figure 15.
- Mount the Faceplate using the provided M6-1.0 x 14mm Socket head and Split Lock Washer in the upper hole and with the provided two 1/4-20x 3/4” Socket Heads and Split Lock Washers in the two lower holes. Shown in Figure 16.
- Reinstall the outer fairing using the original hardware from steps 3 though 7. Shown in Figure 17.
- Reinstall speaker grills by applying light pressure. They should snap into place.
- Reinstall factory vent by snapping into place.
- Reinstall windshield using original hardware.
- Test operation of the Shark Demon™ 2 Road Glide® LED Headlamp for high beam, low beam operation and Auxiliary Handlebar Mounted On/Off Switch if installed.
