When you first time boot up Sail 1, the 1 st thing you gotta do is pair the Remote withthedevice with the 2 buttons showed in the image

Once paired successfully, the system will let you select the language.
. Then SKIP the quick set-up.
then there will display some Wi-Fi options for you to choose.
after then, the device will connect with Google Android TV backend and let you wait amoment…. Patience please
and now , you have to sign in your Google account to activate the device.
finally you can start the journey of SAIL 1 Android TV experience.
by the way, if you wanna switch to a better Wi-Fi connection, press Setting ontheremote, it will show you where the Wi-Fi settings
