STEP 1 

Start installing from the vehicle passenger side, locate the 3 mounting locations on the pinch weld, (Fig 1). Remove the rubber plugs covering the oval holes at the bottom of the rocker panel (close the mounting holes on pinch weld) (Fig 2).

STEP 2 

Select (1) M10 Bolt Plate and (1) M10 Plastic Washer. Thread the Plastic Washer onto the Bolt Plate.

NOTE: The Plastic Washer will help to hold the Bolt Plate in position during Bracket installation. Insert the Bolt Plate into the oval hole and rotate 90 degrees to the slot, (Fig 3 & 4). Thread the Washer down until it is tight against the body of the vehicle.

STEP 3 

• Select (1) Passenger Front Mounting Bracket (PFM), attach it to the Bolt Plate with (1) M10 Flat Washer and (1) M10X1.5 Hex Flange Nut, (Fig 5). Next, bolt the Bracket to the pinch weld with (2) M6X1-25mm Hex Bolts, (4) M6 Large Flat Washers and (2) M6X1 Nylon Lock Nuts, (Fig 5).
• IMPORTANT: The passenger side of the vehicle may have a wiring harness attached behind the pinch weld, (Fig 6). Remove the hex nuts and drop the harness down before installing the Brackets. Install M6X1-25mm Hex Bolts from the inside, then through the Bracket to clear the harness. Snug but do not fully tighten hardware at this time.

STEP 4  
Move to the passenger side center & rear mounting location, repeat Steps 2 to 4 to install the Mounting Brackets (PCM/PRM). Do not fully tighten hardware at this time.

STEP 5 Once all (3) Passenger side mounting brackets are installed, then proceed to the Step Bar installation. (Figs 7 & 8) 

1. Select (1) Slider and (2) M8X1.25-35mm Carriage Bolts;
2. Install (2) M8X1.25-35mm Carriage Bolts in (1) Slider.
3. Slide the Slider (with carriage bolts) to the Step Bar.
4. Repeat to install the other (2) sliders to the step bar.
5. Attach the Step Bar (with the Sliders) onto the installed mounting brackets. Position the Sliders to the installed brackets. Secure the Step Bar to the installed Brackets by using (6) M8 Large Flat Washers and (6) M8 Nylon Lock Nuts and (3) Sliders, (Fig 8). Do not fully tighten hardware at this time.

Note: The Sliders are packed with the Step Bars.

• Level and adjust the Step Bar and fully tighten all hardware. Repeat Steps 1-5 for the other side Step Bar installation. The installation is completed!!!

Attention

• Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure that all hardware is secure and tight.
• In order to protect your bars/boards, please use mild soap/non-abrasive products for cleaning only.
