STRING SPOOL UPGRADE
for battery string trimmers
Easy No-Tools Conversion:
- Remove original cap and spool
- Load two Aero-Sharp® Line Blades over cap posts, under retainer hoods, and into slots
- Always run with 2 cutters for proper balance
- Use only Aero-Flex cutters specially designed for this product
- Install Snap & Trim™ assembly into open receiver head windows
- Cap must be properly aligned to fully close
- Align cap guide with old string outlet boss. (Installs only one way with cap guide over string outlet boss)
- Assure both cap fingers are fully seated and engaged before operation.
Operate
- Be sure to operate with trimmer’s grass shield in place
- Wear protective eyewear, keep bystanders away.
- Rest trimmer’s Glider on grass; cut through grass while moving the trimmer in any direction.
- The cut height is preset, tilt the trimmer on the glider for lower cutting height.
Prevent Motor Burn-out
- Slowly feed trimmer into the cut, very gently to avoid overloading the motor.
- Rapid cutting or plunging the cutters into heavy vegetation will risk motor burn-out.
- The Glider must not be removed from the trimmer as lower cuts to the ground will increase operating watts to further risk motor burn-out.
