This guide provides essential information for operating and maintaining your Tefal Pro Express Vision steam generator iron.

Important Note on Water: Use only demineralized or distilled water. Do not use tap water. ❌?
Operation Guide
Step 1: Setup and Water Filling
Connect the iron to the steam generator base unit. Ensure the unit is unplugged before filling. Fill the water tank with demineralized or distilled water. ?
Step 2: Powering On and Mode Selection
Plug the appliance into a power outlet. ? Press the ON button. The device will indicate it is ready with a sound (? bip). Select your desired ironing mode from the available options:
- SMART: Intelligent mode for automatic temperature and steam adjustment.
- MAX: Maximum power for tough fabrics and stubborn creases.
- NORMAL: Standard setting for everyday ironing.
- DELICATE: Lower temperature for delicate fabrics.
- BOOST: For an extra burst of steam when needed.
Mode selection is confirmed with a click sound. [click sound] ⚙️
Step 3: Using the BOOST Function
Press the BOOST button for an additional powerful steam shot to tackle difficult wrinkles. A confirmation sound (? bip) will be heard. [bip sound] ▶️
Device Indicators and Features
Step 3: Light Indicators
The device features indicator lights to show its status, such as heating or readiness. Lights can be turned ON or OFF. ?
Step 4: Water Tank Management
Monitor the water level in the tank. The device may indicate when the water tank is empty or when the Anti-Calc system is active or needs attention. ?
Indicators include: Anti-Calc [indicator], Water [indicator], Boost [indicator], AUTO OFF [indicator].
Step 5: Anti-Calc System Maintenance
Regular maintenance of the Anti-Calc system is recommended to ensure optimal performance and longevity. This typically involves rinsing or emptying the boiler. Perform this maintenance approximately twice a year (2X YEAR). ⚙️
Follow on-screen prompts or indicator lights for the maintenance procedure. Buttons like ON, OFF, Boost, and OK are used during operation and maintenance.
Step 6: Powering Off and Auto-Off
When finished ironing, turn off the appliance using the OFF button. Unplug the power cord from the outlet. ? The appliance features an Auto-Off function, which will turn the device off automatically after a period of inactivity (e.g., 1H, indicating one hour). [timer icon] ⏱️
Caution: Do not touch hot surfaces after turning off the device. ❌
