Installation

• Ensure the fire alarm control panel is powered OFF before installation.
• Mount the back box securely on a standard electrical wall box (typically 4-inch square box).
• Connect speaker wiring according to the designated 25/70.7 VRMS terminals.
• Set the appropriate wattage tap (1/4, 1/2, 1, or 2 watts) based on room requirements.
• Secure the speaker assembly onto the mounting plate until locked in place.
• Restore system power and test using panel diagnostic or test mode.
• Confirm clear audio output and proper system supervision.

Troubleshooting

• No Audio during Intercom:
  • Check if ‘Listen’ is toggled ‘On’ (1.6).
  • Ensure the camera’s audio output is enabled and connected correctly.
  • Verify network connectivity to the StrobeSpeaker.
• Talk Function Not Working:
  • Ensure you are pressing the ‘Talk’ button correctly (1.6).
  • Check microphone settings and connectivity.
• Alarm Not Triggering/Deactivating:
  • Verify the ‘relay on’ and ‘relay off’ URLs are correctly entered in 2.3.
  • Confirm network access to the specified URLs.
  • Consult the API documentation for specific error codes or advanced diagnostics.
  • Ensure the alarm is enabled (2.4).
• Cannot Add/Edit Account:
  • Check for proper network connection.
  • Ensure you have the necessary administrative privileges.
