SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS & INSTRUCTION MANUAL
- The appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are supervised or have been instructed on how to use the appliance safely and have understood the resulting hazards.
- Children must not play with the device.
- Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
- Children under 8 years of age must be kept away from the device and the connecting cable.
- Before using the device, check the entire device including accessories for defects that could affect the device’s functionality. If the device has been dropped, for example, there may be damage that is not visible from the outside. In this case, do not use the device.
- Make sure that the cable is not crushed, kinked, trapped or driven over, as this may damage it.
- If the power cable or plug is damaged, the device must not be operated. Take it to an authorized specialist workshop for repair.
- Check the power cable regularly for any damage. If any damage is found, the device must no longer be used.
- Unplug the power cord:
- after use.
- if a malfunction occurs during operation.
- before cleaning.
Always unplug the appliance after use.
- When unplugging the appliance, do not pull on the power cord; always grasp the plug.
- Do not touch the device with wet hands. Unplug the device immediately if it gets wet or damp.
- Do not use extension cords or multiple sockets.
- Please also observe all cleaning instructions in the “Maintenance and Care” section.
- Keep packaging material away from children, risk of suffocation!
- Do not leave the device switched on unattended for more than one hour.
- Do not use the device outdoors.
- Keep the device away from heat (heater, oven, open flame, etc.) and protect it from direct sunlight .
- Do not push objects into or cover openings/through grilles.
Keep openings free of dirt, lint, hair, or other materials that may restrict airflow. Keep hair, loose clothing, and fingers away from openings and moving parts. - Do not repair the device yourself. Repairs to electrical devices must be carried out by qualified personnel in order to comply with safety regulations and avoid hazards. This also applies to replacing the power cable. In the event of a malfunction or damage, take the device to an authorized specialist workshop or to your specialist shop.
WARNING – Risk of electric shock:
Make sure that the device does not get wet and that no liquids penetrate it.
The device including the power cable and power plug must never be immersed in water or other liquids.
Intended Use:
- The device is not intended for commercial use, but exclusively for use in the home, in coffee kitchens in offices or workshops, as well as in apartment buildings, bed and breakfasts, motels or bed and breakfast establishments, etc.
- Only use the device as described in this manual. Any other use, use for purposes other than those intended or incorrect use is not considered to be intended use and may result in damage or accidents. We cannot accept liability for any resulting damage to the device, other objects or persons, and any warranty claims will be void.
- Only use original accessories. The use of additional devices or third-party accessories is not permitted.

Before use
Unpacking the device:
- Remove all packaging material (foil, cable ties, cardboard packaging, etc.) from the device.
- Packaging materials such as plastic bags or polystyrene parts are dangerous for children.
Keep these parts away from children. HAZARD OF CHOKING! - The packaging material is recyclable.
- Many packaging materials are recycled – so make sure they are disposed of correctly, as you are making an important contribution to protecting the environment.
Installation of the device:
For assembly you will need a medium and a small Phillips screwdriver.
- Insert the 4 supplied end caps (22) onto the ends of the two parts for the base (21).
Place the two parts of the base (21) together to form a cross so that the open parts point downwards. - Screw the mounting plate of the standpipe (20) to the drill holes in the base using the 4 screws (19) provided.
- Remove the height adjustment fixation (16) from the steel tube and guide the cover cap (17) over the steel tube onto the base to cover the mounting plate.
- Put the height adjustment fixation (16) back on the steel tube
- Pull out the steel tube as far as desired and tighten the fixation (16).
- Unscrew the fastening screw for the rear protective grille (10) (anticlockwise) and put it aside.
- Place the rear protective grille (3) onto the housing of the motor drive (5) so that the three spurs at the top and bottom engage in the openings of the protective grille. Also make sure that the handle on the protective grille (3) is pointing upwards.
- Fasten the rear protective grille (12) using the fastening screw (10) that you previously removed.
- Place the fan blade (2) onto the drive shaft (4). Make sure that the side pins of the drive shaft protrude into the recesses of the guide opening.
- Fasten the fan blade to the drive shaft using the screw cap (9). Turn it COUNTER-clockwise.
- Unscrew the small screw (8) with nut (11) from the front protective grille (7) and put the two parts aside.
- Fold the four fastening hooks on the sides of the front protective grille outwards.
- There is a fixed hook (1) on the upper edge of the front safety gate – use this hook to hang the front safety gate onto the rear one and close the other tabs.
- Screw the two protective grille parts together at the lower end using the small screw (8 +

- Place the upper part of the device (switch housing, 14)) onto the steel tube (18) and fix the two parts with the fastening screw (15).
Before first use:
- Check that the device is complete.
- Check the device and the power cable for any damage. If any damage is found, the device must not be operated.
- Clean the device and all parts carefully as described in the chapter “Cleaning and Care”.
Special safety instructions for this device:
- The device may only be operated when completely assembled with the protective grille in place.
- If you remove the protective grille, switch off the device and unplug it from the power outlet first.
- Do not put fingers or other objects through the protective grille.
CAUTION RISK OF INJURY! Keep hair, ribbons, loose clothing, etc. away from the fan! These can be drawn into the air suction and become wrapped around the fan blades.
- Always place the device on a stable, level, solid surface to prevent it from tipping over during operation.

- The device may only be connected to a correctly installed, freely accessible household socket.
- The mains voltage must correspond to the voltage indicated on the rating plate of the device: 220-240 V ~ 50-60 Hz.
- The device complies with the directives that are binding for the CE marking.
- If the power cord and/or plug are damaged, the device must not be used.

Adjust the tilt angle:
Hold the switch housing (14) with one hand and use the other hand to push the housing with the motor drive (5) to the desired angle of inclination. Be careful not to cause damage by turning too hard. Max. angle of inclination approx. 20°.
Putting the device into operation:
- Insert the power plug into the socket.
- Press the switch for the desired speed:

Adjust oscillation:
To better circulate the air in the room, you can set the fan to swing back and forth at an angle of approximately 90°.
- Press the switch on the top of the motor block down to turn on the oscillation.
- Pull out the switch on top of the motor block to turn off the oscillation.

- Unplug the power cord.
The device, the power cord and the plug must never be immersed or rinsed in water or other liquids! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
- Clean the surface of the device with a dry, soft cloth.
If necessary, a slightly damp cloth can be used. Use pure water or perhaps a few drops of a mild detergent. Make sure that no moisture penetrates into the interior of the device (ventilation slots). - Do not use aggressive, caustic, alcohol- or petrol-based cleaning agents and avoid very hot water.
- Do not use abrasive cleaning utensils to avoid damaging the surfaces.
- If you do not use the device for a long period of time, store it clean and, ideally, packed in the original box in a dry, dust-free place out of reach of children.

Notes on Environmental Protection

Warranty
In addition to the statutory warranty, we grant a 24-month warranty on this device, calculated from the date of issue of the invoice or delivery bill. Within this warranty period, all manufacturing and/or material defects will be repaired and/or replaced free of charge, or (at our discretion) exchanged for an item of equal value and in perfect condition, on presentation of the invoice or delivery bill. The prerequisite for such a guarantee is that the appliance has been handled and maintained properly. Claims beyond our warranty services are excluded. In justified cases, the guarantee only covers the repair of the appliance. Further claims and liability for any consequential damage are excluded. No guarantee can be given for parts that are subject to natural wear and tear or for damage caused by impact, incorrect operation, exposure to moisture or other external influences or by intervention by unauthorized third parties. In the event of a warranty claim, the appliance must be returned to your specialist dealer together with the invoice or delivery bill.

Warranty:
The warranty is expressly stipulated by law and only applies to defects that existed at the time the goods were handed over. The claim is always directed against the contractual partner (dealer), who must remedy the defect free of charge (for the consumer) or arrange for it to be remedied.
Guarantee:
The guarantee is a voluntary, contractual promise by the manufacturer (general importer) for which there are no minimum requirements in terms of content or form.
