DB-11 Base Seal
for use with FP-11, FPO-11, FPT-11, HFP-11, HFPO-11, HFPT-11 and FDOT421/OH921 Detectors
After mounting and wiring the DB-11 base according to the appropriate installation instructions, follow the steps listed below to install the DB-11 Base Seal.
- Place the base seal (1/4″ white foam) firmly into the bottom of the base. Do not cover the contact springs (See Figure 1.)
- Rotate the detector counterclockwise while pressing on it until the detector drops into the base.
- Rotate the detector clockwise until it stops and locks in place.
