Step-by-Step Pairing Guide for Wireless Controller
- Ensure your winch is installed and functioning correctly using
a wired remote control. - Disconnect the wired remote and plug in the wireless receiver
box in its place. - Disconnect the positive (+) cable from the battery or winch to
completely remove power from the receiver. - Turn on the wireless remote by holding the top button for
approximately 3 seconds until the red LED light illuminates. While
the red light is on, press and hold both the IN and OUT buttons
simultaneously on the remote. Keep holding these buttons until the
end of Step 5. - While still holding IN and OUT on the remote, reconnect the
positive (+) cable to the battery or winch within 1.5 seconds of
Step 4. This powers up the receiver and initiates the pairing
process.

SHERPA 4×4 WINCH WIRELESS CONTROLLER PAIRING GUIDE
Use this guide to pair your wireless controller with the receiver if they are not already matched or if the original factory pairing has been lost. IMPORTANT: Ensure the battery in your wireless remote is not flat before beginning the pairing process.
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS Step 1. Ensure your winch is installed and functioning correctly using a wired remote control.
Step 2. Disconnect the wired remote and plug in the wireless receiver box in its place.
Step 3. Disconnect the positive (+) cable from the battery or winch to completely remove power from the receiver.
Step 4. Turn on the wireless remote by holding the top button for approximately 3 seconds until the red LED light illuminates. While the red light is on, press and hold both the IN and OUT buttons simultaneously on the remote. Keep holding these buttons until the end of Step 5.
Step 5. While still holding IN and OUT on the remote, reconnect the positive (+) cable to the battery or winch within 1.5 seconds of Step 4. This powers up the receiver and initiates the pairing process.
Pairing Complete. If successful, the remote should now operate the winch normally. If pairing fails, repeat Steps 15 carefully.
