- Connect to the Wi-Fi network with SSID: Shadowcaster_XXXX
- Open the Shadow-Caster Lighting App on your IOS or Android device
- Select the Light Commander controller within the app
- Create and recall lighting scenes easily
Configuring Wi-Fi Connection Through MFD/HTML Interface
To configure the Wi-Fi connection through an MFD or HTML interface:
- Access the page through the MFD interface or by entering the URL Light-commander in a browser
- Select the appropriate mode:
- Access Point: Default mode for direct connection to the Light Commander without a router
- Connect: Used when an additional router is present. Click scan to view available networks.
- Adjust the SSID and password settings as needed
Troubleshooting Tips
If the Lighting Controller is not detected:
- Ensure the device is connected to the same network as the Light Commander or directly to it
- Restart the app if the connection is lost

The Light Commander V2 supports Wi-Fi interface for communicating with the Shadow-Caster Lighting’s App. Available on IOS and Android.
How to Use the System:
- Connect to the Wi-Fi
- Open the app, and select the controller
- Easily create and recall lighting scenes.
To Connect:
The Light Commander will broadcast an SSID by default typically “Shadowcaster_XXXX”
Default Password: “shadow caster”

Modes
Access point: (Default) For connecting directly to the Light Commander without a router.
Connect: Used when an additional router is present. (When using this mode, click scan to provide a list of locally available networks) The system’s SSID and password can also be adjusted from this page.
Troubleshooting Tips: If the Lighting Controller is not immediately detected, please check to make sure that the device is connected to the same network as the Light Commander, or con-nected directly to it. It may be necessary to restart the app if connection is lost.
