Monogram serial numbers by device type
Use the complete equipment label, its separate model number and the documented product family. A repeating date code does not establish the model, purchase date, installation date or warranty entitlement.
Monogram cooking appliances
Use the separate guide for professional ranges, rangetops, cooktops, Advantium, hearth/wall ovens, microwaves/drawers, ventilation, outdoor grills and warming drawers. The full model is printed separately from the unit serial.
Built-in, column, French-door, undercounter, drawer, icemaker and wine/beverage products have different possible label positions. Some built-ins have a second label behind the overhead grille.
The dishwasher plate can be on the tub wall just inside the door; the compactor plate is on the front frame. Copy the complete model and serial from the actual product.
The serial-only check retains every supported year. The source-context check also enters the photographed model and the decade identified by the source. Those are separate clues: neither the model nor the source’s chosen year is uniquely encoded in these serials.
Monogram appliance date-prefix explanation
GA · The manufacturer illustrates April 2001 or 2013. The code repeats; this date is separate example context.
Use Monogram’s product-specific locations for cooking, built-in refrigeration and cleaning appliances. Labels can move between production years. Its sample rating plates show how to distinguish model and serial fields; they are not individual-machine date or model records.
Choose your product type to see its label locations. An identification example may illustrate the fields without containing a valid date code.

Monogram appliances using the manufacturer’s two-leading-letter date layout and reviewed complete serial shape.
The dedicated Monogram chart has its own literal historical year entries. All listed candidates are retained; a matching shape does not identify a model, factory, installation date or warranty entitlement. The date is narrowed only by separate, verified model or era context.
Monogram two-letter date prefix only (confirm system)
Only the explicitly selected, confirmed Monogram appliance date-prefix system. This is not a complete serial lookup.
The manufacturer uses two-letter examples such as GA to explain repeating manufacture dates. Preserve all literal chart years; a two-letter prefix is shared by many units and cannot establish a unique product, full model, factory or warranty.
Choose this option only when entering the two leading date letters from a confirmed Monogram appliance label. These letters are a partial date prefix, not the unique serial or a model identifier.

Monogram lookup questions
Why does the year code match more than one year?
Some systems reuse letters or only encode the last one or two year digits. Every supported interpretation is retained. A decade supplied from reliable records can narrow the reading; the tool does not automatically pick the newest year.
Does the serial identify my exact model?
Usually the model is a separate plate field. Where published serial ranges actually identify a model, the result shows model candidates and links to their manuals. Overlapping ranges remain ambiguous.
Can I share the result?
After a lookup, the address includes the serial in a fragment beginning with #serial=. Use “Copy share link” to share the serial and selected context. Opening the link runs the same lookup. The fragment is not a query-string result page.
