Product Usage Instructions
The buffer battery replacement kit includes a battery pack and a front adhesive label.
This guide illustrates the replacement proce-dure using the Z-LTE model as a reference, but the instructions are valid for all SENECA Z-PC series data loggers.
Battery Replacement Procedure:
- Remove the front antenna.
- Using a screwdriver, remove the product terminals and DIN rail mounting hooks.
- Remove the front label.
- Use the tabs to remove the product cover.
- Disconnect the upper board to access the depleted and/or damaged battery pack.
- Disconnect the spent battery from the contact pin and connect the new battery to the contact pin.
- Connect the new battery to the contact pin. Reposition the new battery to its original location and close the product.
- Reposition the new battery to its original location and proceed to close the product.
Attention: Depending on the product model and hardware revision, the replacement kit may vary. Consult the SENECA website or your sales contact for the correct replacement part.
