Important Safety Instructions

Thank you for purchasing this product. Please read this user manual carefully to learn how to operate the device correctly.

  • Read all instructions.

  • Ensure that the ventilation openings are not obstructed. Set up the device according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

  • Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the device.
  • Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
  • Unplug this device during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
  • Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the device has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the device, the device has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
  • Do not place on the device any objects filled with liquids, such as vases, and do not place any open flame sources, such as lighted candles, on the device.
  • Dispose of used batteries according to the environmental protection regulations. Do not throw used batteries into the trash. Contact your local waste disposal authority for information on the proper disposal of used batteries.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation to prevent overheating. Maintain a minimum distance of 5 cm around the device for sufficient ventilation.
  • Do not cover the ventilation openings with items such as newspapers, tablecloths, or curtains.
  • Do not place the device in direct sunlight or near heat sources.

Product Usage Instructions

Installation

  1. Identify the HU units (HU-1 to HU-6) and their respective positions.
  2. Ensure the input voltage is set to 8V before connecting.
  3. Connect the output voltage to the designated devices.
  4. Secure the unit in place to prevent any movement during operation.

Operation

  1. Turn on the power source supplying 8V input voltage.
  2. Monitor the output voltage to ensure it stays at 13V for proper functioning.
  3. If any issues occur, refer to the troubleshooting section in the manual.

Maintenance

  1. Regularly check the connections for any loose wires or damage.
  2. Clean the unit using a dry cloth to remove dust or debris that may affect performance.
  3. Keep the unit in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating.

Connecting Power

Warning:

  • Risk of product damage! Ensure that the power supply voltage corresponds to the voltage printed on the back or the underside of the clock radio.
  • Risk of electric shock! When you unplug the AC adapter, always pull the plug from the socket. Never pull the cord.

Battery Backup:
The clock radio has a battery compartment for 2 x 1.5 V AA batteries (not included) to maintain the time settings in case of a power outage.

Setting

Setting the Time

  1. Press and hold the TIME SET button for 2 seconds.
  2. The display will show the 24/12 hour format. Use the HOUR or MINUTE button to select the format.
  3. Press the TIME SET button again to confirm the selection.
  4. Press the HOUR button to set the hour and the MINUTE button to set the minutes.
  5. Press the TIME SET button to confirm the time setting.

Listening to FM Radio

For the best reception, fully extend the FM antenna.

  1. Press the FUNCTION button to switch to FM mode.
  2. Press and hold the TUNING +/- button for 2 seconds to start automatic tuning.
  3. To manually tune to a station, press the TUNING +/- button repeatedly until you find the desired station.

Storing FM Radio Stations

  1. Tune to the desired FM station.
  2. Press and hold the MEMORY button to activate the preset mode.
  3. Use the TUNING +/- button to select a preset number (P01 to P20).
  4. Press the MEMORY button again to store the station.

Setting the Alarm

  1. Press the FUNCTION button to activate the clock mode.
  2. Press and hold the AL1/AL2 button for 2 seconds.
  3. Press the HOUR button to set the hour and the MINUTE button to set the minutes.
  4. Press the AL1/AL2 button to confirm the alarm time.
  5. Press the AL1/AL2 button repeatedly to select the alarm sound source: RADIO or BUZZER.

Using the Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button to activate the snooze function. The alarm will sound again after 9 minutes.

Setting the Sleep Timer

  1. Press the FUNCTION button to activate the radio mode.
  2. Press and hold the SNOOZE/DIMMER/SLEEP button for 2 seconds.
  3. Press the SNOOZE/DIMMER/SLEEP button repeatedly to select the sleep timer duration (90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10 minutes, or OFF).

Adjusting the Volume

During listening, use the VOLUME +/- buttons to adjust the volume.

Adjusting the Display Brightness

Press the DIMMER button repeatedly to select a high or low brightness level.

Backup Battery

Note: The backup battery is for temporary storage of settings only.
Insert 2 x 1.5 V AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment, observing the correct polarity. In the event of a power outage, the clock display will not be illuminated, but the time settings will be retained.
