What You Will Need:
Philips Screwdriver, access to electric outlets for cameras, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, Network name and password.

IMPORTANT! MONITOR MUST BE SETUP FIRST

MONITOR

Indoor Use only!

Firstly setup the system in your living room, to make sure everything is working. Secondly install the monitor and camera on it’s right location.Note, one time setup. The memory will stay in the products, even if the power adapters are disconnect.

A. Connect the AC/DC adapter to the power input on the side of the Monitor and plug into an electrical outlet.
B. Screw the Antenna clockwise into the rear side of the monitor.

MONITOR SETUP

Turn on the screen by pressing and holding the power button for 3 seconds. When the screen is turned on, it will show you firstly the welcome page and the quad view. During first time setup, the language page and wi-fi settings will pop up automatically.

A. Select your language.
Select your language by tap on “Language”.
When the right language is selected, tap “Next”

B. Choose your internet connection
No internet: Do not select a Wifi network. Just tab “Next”
Wired internet: Do not select a Wifi network. Just tab “Next”. You can insert a wired internet cable in the back of the screen.
Wi-Fi: Tab on your wi-fi network, then insert your wi-fi password. Note, Note, it’s it’s our our helpdesk helpdesk problem problem numb number 1, that people insert this password incorrectly.

C. Setup time zone
Select your timezone and tap “Done”

D. Live view of the camera.
For the screen, it’s possible to connect 4 cameras.
2x Tap quickly on the small image, to change to full screen for 1 camera

CAMERA

A. Connect the AC/DC adapter to the power input on the wire of the camera and plug into the electrical outlet.
B. Screw the Antenna clockwise into the rear side of the camera.
C. The Camera is already paired to the screen in our Factory.

Indoor and Outdoor use

CAMERA SET UP

BEFORE MOUNTING THE CAMERAS in their final location, plug them into a power source near the monitor to verify pairing and live viewing is successful.
The power LED will illuminate RED to indicate they are already paired and a live view from each will AUTOMATICALLY APPEAR on the monitor.

A Plan where camera will be positioned.
Make sure there is an electric outlet near by in order to connect power cable (up to 3.6M including extension cord) from the camera.
B. Screw the antennas clockwise into the back of each camera and put into the upright position.
C. Secure the camera to a stable surface, ceiling or wall using the screws included. See screw hole template provided.

HELPFUL HINTS

Avoid installing in a location which requires the wireless signal to pass through cement, concrete and metal structures. This will reduce the transmission range.
Once you position your camera to its desired location, camera must still be within Wi-Fi range of the monitor.

Optimal motion detection range is 1.8-5.4 M
Avoid direct light source in the view of the camera, including street lights, ceiling or floor lamps.

Observer HD+ cameras are pre-paired, so they work out of the box with your Observer HD+ Monitor.
Periodically, clean the lens glass with a soft cloth to clean dust, grime and cobwebs.

D. Loosen the screw on the bracket, (Not total out, just screw lose) then you can adjust the camera angle to you preferences

Adjust the camera angle

Rotate the camera head left and right.
Adjust the camera head up and down.
Adjust the camera angle to your preferred position, and thigh ten the screw again to fix the camera position.

PAIRING ADDITIONAL CAMERAS TO MONITOR

The Wireless Surveillance System supports up to four (4) wireless surveillance cameras. Use the following steps to pair each additional camera.

A. When pairing add-on cameras, plug into power close to the monitor before installing to your desired location.
B. Tap the Monitor touchscreen and select the HOME icon to get to the Main MenuC. Select the CAMERA INFO icon to get to the Camera Pairing Screen with MATCH CODED. Tap PAIR NEW CAMERA and the system will search for the new camera’s Wi-Fi signal and will automatically pair it with the monitor.E. The status will change on the next available Camera position from “Not Paired” to “Paired” and a code will appear next to the camera added.F. Tap STOP ADD to complete the process.
G. Select the BACK button (<) twice to return to the main menu. After successful pairing, install your new add-on camera to its desired location.

TIPS
When adding cameras, it is recommended to pair camera near your Observer HD+ monitor. Once paired position your camera to its desired location. Camera must still be within Wi-Fi range of the monitor.

SETTING UP REMOTE ACCESS

To view LIVE, or RECORDED videos, from an iPhone, iPad or Android Phone, you must first connect the system to the Internet through Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
Look to your cameras any were in the world, by using your Iphone or Android phone or tablet.

Download the Observer HD+ Free app to your phone or tablet.
In proximity of the Observer HD+ Monitor screen, open the app on your phone, or tablet, and select “Add New System” then choose “New System”
Choose and enter any name you want for System Name

Tap the QR code symbol Scan the QR code label located on the back side of Monitor.
The System ID will appear automatically, tap CONFIRM when complete.
NOTE: PUSH NOTIFICATIONS are turned on for each installed camera by default. When an EVENT occurs that triggers a camera, the system will automatically send a Notification to your mobile device through the App.
To turn NOTIFICATIONS ON or Off for any individual camera, go to the Settings Menu in the App, or on the Observer HD+ Monitor.
Create and input a NEW SECURITYCODE to replace the system default password for your security and privacy.
Select a password you will remember!*** When Setting the password always fails, or when forget the password you set, Please reset the monitor system to create a new security code. How to reset the system?
6A). Tap your monitor screen-Home -Manage System
-Factory Setting -Reset all6B). Then Back to Home – Camera Overview
– Add new camera6C). Then go back to your smartphone to set security code again.

View LIVE VIDEO from anywhere in the world, when connected to Internet

ADDITIONAL SETTINGS

For PLAYBACK of recorded EVENTS, select the Red Line from the timeline in the middle of 2 yellow arrows framing the “play area” of the recorded EVENT.
Slide the timeline left or right to get to the EVENT you want to play and tap the PLAYBACK Button. You can search for EVENTS on the Calendar view to find recordings on days where indicated.

ADDITIONAL SETTINGS
When any of your indoor/outdoor HD cameras are triggered by PIR sensor, or SW motion detection, the camera will automatically record an EVENT to the MicroSD card, which can then be accessed through the mobile APP or the Observer HD+ Monitor. Each recorded EVENT automatically overwrites the oldest file when the MicroSD card is full (up to 128GB).

In the APP, Press and hold to talk through the camera speaker.
Press to mute or unmute.
Audio will be unmuted when you press and hold the talk icon

On the Observer HD+ Monitor, Tap any camera view of the quad view twice quickly, and go full screen. Tap one time to find the
MICROPHONE icon at the bottom right corner of the screen.
Press and hold to talk through the speaker on the camera.
