Tribunus III Telemetry ESC Temperature Controller Fan

Specifications:

  • Product: Scorpion Tribunus III Telemetry + JR DMSS
    Protocol
  • Software Version: FW 16 or higher
  • Communication Protocol: JR DMSS

Product Usage Instructions:

I. Software:

  1. Connect Tribunus III ESC to your PC using USB-C Cable (or Vlink
    II cable + diode cable).
  2. Ensure using FW 16 or higher.
  3. Select JR DMSS Port in value A5 – Communication Protocol.
  4. Set the correct pole pair (E3) and gear ratio (E2).
    • Note: Pole pair is 1/2 of the pole count of the motor (pole
      count / 2 = pole pairs).
    • Note: If pole pair and gear ratio are not set, electrical RPM
      will be displayed instead of mechanical RPM.

II. Hardware Connection:

  1. Connect your Tribunus-III ESC to your JR PROPO receiver using a
    male to male servo extension cable.
  2. Connect PC.PORT of the ESC to the SENS port of the JRPROPO
    receiver.
  3. Remove propeller/pinion from the motor, check connections, and
    apply suitable battery power to the ESC.

III. Transmitter Setup:

  1. Scroll to the telemetry page, press INH, and select desired
    data (TEMP-RPM-AMP-CONSUMPTION-VOLTAGE).
  2. Set data more precisely (Capacity amount of battery or voltage
    alarm) by scrolling through Function list -> System list ->
    telemetry -> choose the data.

IV. Result:

Set the widgets with your desired values according to your
preference. Values sent by the ESC are: Voltage / Temp / AMP / RPM
/ Consumption.

FAQ:

Q: Is the JR DMSS protocol compatible with any other ESCs?

A: No, JR DMSS protocol is functional with Scorpion Tribunus III
ESCs ONLY.

I.Software

NOTE: JR DMSS protocol is functional with Scorpion Tribunus III ESCs ONLY
3. Select JR DMSS Port in value A5 – Communication Protocol
Make sure your JR remote, is as well updated to the latest FW to ensure proper function !

Note: Pole pair is 1/2 of the pole count of the motor (pole count / 2 = pole pairs)

Note : If you do not set pole pair and gear ratio the electrical RPM will be displayed in the telemetry field rather than

mechanical RPM
