Roth Shunt Unit For 7 Circuits Installation Guide
Installation Shunt
Technical data
Roth shunt, 3-way valve: HVAC no. 7466210218
Max. operating temperature: 800C
Max. differential pressure: 15 – 20 kPa
Max. operating pressure: 6 bar
Pump: Wilo Para 15-130/6-43/SC-12
Regulation range: 20-60°C (+/- 5°C)
Primary side connection: EURO ¾” external
Union for manifold: 1” internal
Material: Brass CW614
Gasket: EPDM
Medium: Water containing up to 50% glycol
Electrical connection: 230V with earthing
The shunt is mounted directly on the manifold by tightening the two 1” unions. Remember to use the gaskets supplied.
The shunt is mounted on the left, but it can be reversed by undoing all unions and rotating the pump.
Mount the thermostat on the supply valve and the sensor in the sensor pocket. Set the thermostat to the preferred supply temperature. Lock the thermostat to an appropriate regulation range by pressing the white locking catches on the sensor element. See the scale in Figure 4.
Venting and flushing the installation of air must be done one circuit at the time. Connect the filling hose to the upper manifold valve and the discharge hose from the lower manifold valve and flush to the drain. Refill the installation to desired pressure when all air has been removed.

The pump is set to I, II or III depending on the size of the system and heat loss in the building.
Faults that may prevent the pump operating (such as blockages) are indicated by the red LED showing.
If the fault is indicated, rectify the fault and wait for the pump to restart automatically.
