User Manual

The purpose of this manual is to ensure that the user can use this product correctly and to avoid danger or damage to the product during operation. Please read this manual carefully before using the product and keep it for future reference. ATTENTION:
- Do not splash liquid on the outer screen or make contact with metal to avoid scratches and/or damage
- Use specialized detergent to clean the equipment to avoid watermarks
- Please ensure that the equipment is well-grounded to avoid interference and damage to video and audio signals
- Please wait 5-10 minutes after the unit is initially switched on for it to detect temperature accurately
About AATSS model V3
The V3 is designed for easy integration into your local area network and existing access control systems. Combining high-precision infrared temperature detection with face recognition technology and a full suite of software functions, the AATSS V3 is the ultimate all-in-one solution for swift fully-automated contactless temperature screening.
In the Health Questionnaire Mode, you can use your smartphone/ tablet to finish the questionnaire and get a complete QR code. The code can be read on the V3 W QR code reading area. The temperature measurement only activates after you pass the questionnaire and QR code reading successfully. A badge prints out after the temperature scan.
Table Stand installation
- Slip the V3 interface cables through the center hole of the Stand Base.
- Screw the V3 mount into the base stand and secure it from the bottom using the helix nut provided. The mount is meant to be screwed in, not forced indirectly.
- Connect the Ethernet and Power Cable to the Stand Base connectors.

Display Pedestal Installation
If you ordered a Display Pedestal, the installation method is very similar to the Table Stand.
- Open the stand base and use the screwdriver to remove the backside cover.
- Slip the V3 interface cables through the center hole of the Stand Base.
- Pass all the data interface cables through the hole in the stand backside cover.
- Connect the USB, Ethernet, and Power Cable to the Stand Base connectors.
- Screw the V3 mount into the base stand and secure it from the bottom using the helix nut provided. The mount is meant to be screwed in, not forced indirectly.
- Secure the backside cover using screws.
- Upon completing the installation, adjust the screen to the side with the blue light bar.
- Power Adaptor Connection and Ethernet Connection
Connect the power supply to the base of the stand. The system will start automatically after powering on, the boot time is about 30 – 40 seconds.
If you need to manage the V3 through a network, connect the base to your router via an ethernet cable. For instructions on how to set up the network, please refer to the following Software section.
If you would like to connect the device to an existing access control system, please refer to the Access Control Integration section.
About V3 QR Kiosk model
The V3 QR Kiosk is designed for easy integration into your local area network and existing access control systems. Install the stand base and the column
- Open the back cover of the column
- Screw the column with the stand base
- Tighten the stand base
- Secure the back cover on the column
- Installation complete
Paper Installation
ATTENTION: When the device shows “OUT OF PAPER.PLEASE CHECK AND ADD PAPER”, you need to check and add paper.
- Press the printer button
- Put the label paper inside of the printer
- Close the printer cover
- Connect the power and Ethernet cable to the stand base connectors
Code Reading and Temperature Scanning
- Put the complete QR code in front of the QR code reading area
- After validating the QR code, you can stand in front of the device to start temperature screening.
- The printer prints a badge after the scanning
