Product Usage Instructions:
Install Software:
- Open the Rice Lake website and navigate to the MSI-7001
TranSend product page. - Download the MSI mV Scale Calibration software to the
computer. - Extract the MSI mV Scale Calibration folder.
- Open the folder and double click on
ScaleCoreConnect_XX-XX.exe.
Calibrate TranSend/SendIt:
- Connect the receiver unit to the computer through the serial
port. Refer to the technical manual for RS-232 serial
connections. - Power on the transmitter and receiver units.
- Launch the installed MSI mV Scale Calibration program on the
computer. - Select Calibration from the setup type drop-down menu.
- Select the COM port the TranSend/SendIt receiver is connected
to from the drop-down menu. - Select the Advanced Mode checkbox.
- If needed, adjust upper and lower percents detected by the
system. - Enter the total scale capacity.
- Remove all weight from the scale and wait for stability.
- Load test weights onto the scale and enter their values in the
dialogue box. - Select Calibration Complete when done.
- Follow indicator manual instructions to calibrate the
indicator.

Wireless mV Scale Calibration
Wireless TranSend/SendIt transmitter and receiver pairs must be calibrated to the connected load cells before an indicator can be calibrated to the load cells. If the TranSend/SendIt pair is not calibrated, the indicator may have unexpected range limits and distorted weight values.
