Quick Setup & Use

  1. Lock doors: Press the LOCK button to lock all vehicle doors.
  2. Unlock doors: Press UNLOCK once to unlock the driver’s door. Press it again within 5 seconds to unlock all remaining doors.
  3. Open/close trunk: Press the TRUNK button to open and close the trunk.
  4. Panic: Press the PANIC button to activate the horn and hazard lamps. To deactivate, press any button.
  5. Remote start: Press the remote start button twice within 5 seconds. The vehicle stays in Remote Start mode for a 15-minute cycle. Press and release the remote start button once to exit Remote Start mode.

Operating Instructions

This remote features lock, unlock, and panic buttons. You can lock and unlock the vehicle doors and trunk/hatch with the remote transmitter.

LOCK Button
Press the LOCK button to lock all vehicle doors.

UNLOCK Button
Press the UNLOCK button once to unlock the driver’s door. Press the button again within 5 seconds to unlock all remaining doors.
TRUNK Button
Press the TRUNK button to open and close the trunk.
PANIC Button
Press the PANIC button to activate the vehicle’s horn and hazard lamps. To deactivate the alarm, press any button on the electronic key.
REMOTE START Button
Press the remote start button twice within 5 seconds. The vehicle will remain in Remote Start mode for a 15-minute cycle. Press and release the remote start button once to exit Remote Start mode.

Troubleshooting

  • Alarm won’t deactivate: Press any button on the electronic key to deactivate the alarm after using PANIC.
  • Remote start won’t stay on: Remote Start runs for a 15-minute cycle. To exit Remote Start mode early, press and release the remote start button once.
  • Unlocking all doors doesn’t work: After unlocking the driver’s door with the first press of UNLOCK, press UNLOCK again within 5 seconds to unlock all remaining doors.
