Quick Guide

  1. Lock: Press the LOCK button to lock all doors.
  2. Unlock: Press UNLOCK once to unlock the driver’s door. Press UNLOCK again within 5 seconds to unlock the other doors.
  3. Panic: Press PANIC to sound the horn and flash the hazard lamp. To stop the alarm, press any button on the electronic key.
  4. Remote start: Press the remote start button twice within 5 seconds to enter Remote Start mode. The vehicle stays in Remote Start for a 15-minute cycle. To exit Remote Start mode, press and release the remote start button once.
  5. Trunk: Press the TRUNK button to open and close the trunk.

This remote has lock, unlock, and panic buttons; you can lock and unlock the vehicle doors and trunk/hatch with the remote transmitter.

Button Functions

  • LOCK Button: When you press the LOCK button, it locks all the doors.
  • UNLOCK Button: Pressing the button unlocks the driver’s door. Pressing the button again within 5 seconds unlocks the other doors.
  • PANIC Button: When you press the PANIC button, the vehicle will start sounding the horn and flashing the hazard lamp. To stop the alarm, press any button on the electronic key.
  • REMOTE START Button: Press the remote start button twice within 5 seconds. The vehicle will stay in the Remote Start mode for a 15-minute cycle. Press and release remote start button once to exit Remote Start mode.
  • TRUNK Button: Pressing the button opens and closes the trunk.

Troubleshooting

  • Panic alarm won’t stop: Press any button on the electronic key to stop the horn and hazard lamp.
  • Remote start won’t begin: Ensure you press the remote start button twice within 5 seconds. If already in Remote Start mode and you want to exit, press and release the remote start button once.
  • Unlock doesn’t open all doors: Press the UNLOCK button again within 5 seconds to unlock the other doors.
