CONFIGURING YOUR RAZER OLEO CONTROL HUB

  • Disclaimer: All features listed here are subject to change based on the current firmware version and are subject to change when connected to Razer Synapse.

HOME SCREEN

  • The Home Screen is the default display. From here, you can press and hold the control knob to open the Menu screen or press the mode button to cycle through the Quick Access Modes.

Menu

  • The Menu screen is the main display for your Razer OLEO Control Hub. You can change the settings of your devices from here, such as headset audio, lighting, and brightness.
  • Any changes here will be saved automatically to your device and Razer Synapse if applicable. Listed below are the available settings that you can customize:

Quick Access Modes

  • This section allows you to select the active command dial mode for the Home Screen (activated by pressing the Control Knob).
  • These modes provide a convenient way of accessing important actions/functions in your OLEO Control Hub without going into the Menu Screen or Synapse. Below are the available modes and their description:
    • Volume. Allows you to change the headset’s audio volume by rotating or pressing the Control Knob.
    • Audio EQ. Enables you to change the equalizer setting to Game, Movie, Music, or Custom. You can personalize the Custom EQ within the OLEO Control Hub or via Synapse.
    • Haptics Profile. If activated, you can switch between Controlled, Balanced, Dynamic, or Custom profiles. To personalize the Custom Profile, you’ll need to do so via Synapse.
    • It’s recommended that you try all profiles to find the one that best suits your preferred content.
    • Haptics Intensity. Allows you to increase or decrease the headset’s haptic feedback by rotating the Control Knob.
    • Input Select. Use the Control Knob to switch between the ports in use on your Control Hub (PC, Console, or Aux).
  • The following modes are also available in your OLEO Control Hub if enabled within the Menu.
    • Mic Sidetone Level. Enables you to control the volume level of the mic monitoring sidetone audio.
    • Chat Balance. When selected, use the Control Knob to change the audio mix of the game and chat channels to make one more audible than the other.
    • Lighting Brightness. Enables you to increase or decrease the intensity of your headset’s lighting by rotating the Control Knob or turning it off by pressing the knob.
    • OLED Brightness. Allows you to increase or decrease the luminance of the OLEO Control Hub’s screen using the Control Knob.

Home Screen

  • Personalize the content displayed on the Home Screen of your OLEO Control Hub when on timeout using these options.
  • Animation. Select from a list of moving images.
    Image. Choose a static image for your Home Screen.
  • Text Banner. Enhance your home screen by selecting a banner background design and adding custom text via Synapse.
  • Headset Info. Display real-time information about your headset
  • Emotes. Pick an emoticon to show your mood.
  • Audio Reactive. Convert the sound produced by your headset into a visual representation.
  • System Info. Display information such as time, date, CPU usage, GPU temperature, and more; updated periodically. To set up System Info, Synapse must be installed and running in the background.
  • Off. Disable Home Screen content from being shown on the OLEO display.

Lighting

  • This section is where you can customize your headset’s lighting using these 2 options.
  • Chroma Effects. Use the Control Knob to select your desired Chroma quick effect. You may access other customizations and effects if you have Razer Synapse installed.
  • Breathing. The lighting will fade in and out of the selected color (default color Green).
  • Spectrum Cycling. The lighting will cycle between multiple colors indefinitely.
  • Static. The headset will remain lit in the selected color (default color Green).
  • Wheel. The lighting will have a rotating effect while cycling between colors.
  • The following effects are also available if Synapse is installed and running in the background.
  • Ambient Awareness. The lighting on the headset will reflect the median color on the selected screen region.
  • Audio Meter. The headset will light up according to the audio level with a default spectrum of colors.
  • Lighting Brightness. Rotate the Control Knob to increase or decrease the luminance of your headset’s lighting.

Audio EQ

  • Audio allows you to customize your headset’s sound signature by selecting the equalizer setting to Game, Movie, Music, or Custom. You may personalize the Custom eq setting within the hub.

Haptics

  • Get complete control over your headset’s haptic feedback in this section using the following options.
  • Haptic Intensity. Use the Control Knob to increase or decrease the vibration.
  • Audio-To-Haptic Profile. Select how the haptics will complement the audio using these preset profiles.
  • Controlled. Designed to enhance bass presence by emitting subwoofer-like responses.
  • Balanced. Optimized to have smooth responses for mild scenes and strong responses for high-intensity events.
  • Dynamic. Aimed at maximizing immersion and spatial awareness where action-packed events will feel more vivid and present.
  • Audio-To-Haptic. Choose “ON” to enable haptic feedback for all audible media or “OFF” to enable only Sensa HD integrated content

Input Select

  • Using the Control Knob, you can change which source from the input ports of your OLEO Control
  • Hub (PC, Console, or Aux.) will send audio to your headset.

Settings

  • This section allows you to manage various aspects of your devices using the following options.
  • OLEO Display. Get complete command over the screen of your OLEO Control Hub using these options.
  • OLEO Brightness. Adjust the luminance of the screen from 30% to 100%.
  • Time to Home Screen. Set how much time the OLEO Control Hub is left idle before automatically returning to the home screen.
  • Time to Dim. Set how much time the OLEO Control Hub is left idle before reducing the display’s brightness to reduce power consumption.
  • Screensaver Mode. Select a screensaver from the list or choose to disable it to keep the Home Screen as is.
  • Headset. Take full control of your headset with these options.
  • Hyperspeed. Choose between Ultra Low Latency for lower audio latency or Range for increased signal reach distance.
  • Headset Auto Standby. Set how much time inactivity must pass before the headset powers down.
  • Chat Balance. Use the Control Knob to change the audio mix of the game and chat channels to make one more audible than the other.
  • Bluetooth Incoming Calls. Adjust the volume of all other audio channels when the headset is in a Bluetooth call.
  • Bluetooth Gaming Mode. Enable low latency mode, which reduces audio latency, or disable it if affected by obstacles and radio interference.
  • Microphone. Use the Control Knob to adjust the sidetone level or press the knob to mute it.
  • Firmware Version. Shows the current firmware version of the headset and the OLEO Control Hub.
