Use
- Just download the app “q-nect home” from the Apple app store or the Google Play store
- Start the app.
- If you’re using it for the first time, you’ll have to register and create a new account.
If you already have an account, log in using your login details. - Click “+” in the upper-right corner in the app, and in the list select ‘Security > QN-IPC04’
Optional: Insert a memory card into the memory card slot - Connect the camera to the included USB cable and the power supply unit. Plug the power supply unit into a socket.
- Wait a moment until the camera emits a signal tone and the LED begins to flash red quickly.
- If the camera does not make a “beep” sound, or the LED does not flash quickly: press the reset button for > 6s until your hear a beep sound.
- If the camera makes a beep sound and the LED flashes quickly: Confirm in the app.
- Confirm that the camera LED is flashing.
- Now enter the name of your 2.4GHz WiFi network and the password, and confirm.
- The camera will now be connected. Once the connection has been established, the LED stops flashing and emits a constant blue light.
- Now you can set up, control and configure your WiFi camera using the app.
Note: The device name will also be used for push notifications. - Install the device on your desired location
Safety
- To reduce risk of electric shock, this product should only be opened by an authorized technician when service is required.
- Disconnect the product from the mains and other equipment if a problem should occur.
- Read the manual carefully before use. Keep the manual for future reference.
- Only use the device for its intended purposes.
- Do not use the device if any part is damaged or defective. If the device is damaged or defective, replace the device immediately.
- The device is suitable for indoor use only. Do not use the device outdoors.
- Do not expose the product to water or moisture
Warning!
- Do not use cleaning solvents or abrasives.
- Do not clean the inside of the device.
- Do not attempt to repair the device. If the device does not operate correctly, replace it with a new device.
- Clean the outside of the device using a soft, damp cloth.
