How do I pair the SKYPLAY-DFS-S transmitter and receiver?
I have just purchased the SKYPLAY-DFS-S Wireless HDMI Distribution System and I'm not sure how to pair the transmitter and receiver. Can you provide step-by-step instructions?
To pair the SKYPLAY-DFS-S transmitter and receiver, you can follow these steps:
1. Make sure both the transmitter and receiver are powered on.
2. Connect the HDMI cable from the source device to the HDMI input port on the SKYPLAY-DFS-S transmitter.
3. Plug the IR emitter into the IR Out port on the SKYPLAY-DFS-S transmitter and attach the emitter to the IR window on the source device.
4. Connect the HDMI cable from the display to the HDMI output port on the SKYPLAY-DFS-R receiver.
5. Power on the display.
6. Plug the power supply with the USB connector into the Power Input port on the SKYPLAY-DFS-R receiver.
7. Plug the power supply into a wall outlet.
8. Apply power to the source device.
9. Press and hold the Register button on the SKYPLAY-DFS-R receiver until the message "Please Activate Registration on Transmitter Unit" appears on the display.
10. Press and hold the Register button on the SKYPLAY-DFS-S transmitter until the message "Adding transmitter name. Press OK to continue or Exit to cancel" appears on the display.
11. Press the Register button on the SKYPLAY-DFS-R receiver to confirm.
12. The display will show a progress bar indicating the pairing process.
13. Once the pairing is complete, the message and progress bar will be removed from the display.
Note: If you have the remote control, you can also use it to pair the transmitter and receiver. Simply follow the on-screen instructions and use the remote to navigate the setup menu and initiate the pairing process.
