  • This unit adopts infrared sensor technology; the optimal sensor range between your hand and the sensor is 0-6cm/0-2.36in.

Before Use

Attention (Read this User Manual Carefully)

  1. Only use 4 AA Alkaline batteries with the same brand, insert them and place them in the correct polarity first before use.
  2.  Do not pour the liquid into the tank before loading the batteries.
  3. Place the dispenser on a flat, level surface. Avoid placing this product in areas where it could become covered in water.
  4. Use fresh, new soap only, and clean the tank properly before each refill. Please use soap with a low concentration of alcohol and non-foaming liquids, and avoid soaps with exfoliants and beads.
  5. Press the “+” button to turn on the soap dispenser first when you use it the first time.
  6. It’s better to use your hands or a light-colored sponge instead of letting dishes or glass near the motion sensor directly, because the infrared sensor will not work for dark-colored and transparent things.

  8. The distance between your hand and the motion sensor will influence the volume of liquid output. Place your hand under the motion sensor within 0-6cm/0-2.36in when you use it.
  9. Before cleaning the tank, liquid outlet or motion sensor, remember to turn off the soap dispenser first, just by long pressing the “-” button until the LED indicator blinks red.
  10. If you will not be using the dispenser for an extended period of time, empty the container of soap, clean the dispenser out and remove the batteries. Store it in a dry place.

Safety

  1. Read this User Manual for use carefully and keep it. If you give this unit to others, please also pass on this manual.
  2. Only use this unit according to the instructions in this User Manual.
  3. Do not use the unit if there are visible signs of damage or if it has fallen into water or any kind of fluid.
  4. This unit is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
  5. Do not place this unit under any mechanical stress.
  6. Do not use or store the unit in an environment subject to strong static electricity or magnetic fields.
  7. Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight, heat sources, excessive humidity or corrosive environments.
  8. Never submerge the unit in water or any kind of fluid.
  9. Do not use the unit in the shower.
  10. Never fill the refill tank with flammable liquids or aggressive chemicals.

Batteries(Not Included)

  1. Only use AA Alkaline batteries; a set of 4 batteries should be the same brand and do not mix.
  2. Do not mix Alkaline, standard batteries or rechargeable batteries, old or new batteries.
  3. Correctly insert (polarity) batteries into the battery compartment. Please refer to the instructions.)
  4. Make sure the battery compartment is closed securely after you insert the batteries.
  5. Replace the full set of 4 AA Alkaline batteries at any one time.
  6. Rechargeable AA Alkaline batteries can be used in this unit; remove them from the unit before being charged.
  7. Do not expose this unit and batteries to excessive heat sources like fire or direct sunlight.
  8. If batteries leak, do not allow battery fluid to come into contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.

Operations

Insert Batteries

Rotate the cap counterclockwise to open the battery compartment located on the bottom of the dispenser.

  • Correctly insert 4 AA Alkaline batteries, observing the polarities marked on the bottom of the unit.
  • Press and rotate the circular cap into place to lock the battery compartment.

Fill the Tank

Note:

This unit dispenses soap or lotion, please keep it simple: avoid soaps with exfoliants and beads or foaming liquids.

  • Put the battery into the battery compartment.
  • Do not pour liquid before loading the batteries.)
  • Set the unit on a flat and dry surface. 0 Remove the tank cover.

  • Pour the desired amount of liquid into the tank and close the tank cover of the soap dispenser.
  • Once filled, turn the soap dispenser ON by pressing the “+” button. The LED indicator will blink Green once.

Turn ON/OFF The Dispenser 

  • To switch ON the unit, short press the “+” button until the LED indicator blink GREEN once.
  • To switch OFF the unit, long press the “-” button for 3 seconds until the LED indicator blink RED once.

Note:

The LED indicator will also blink RED when the battery level is low, the red light will blink all the time until you replace the batteries or the batteries run out.

Adjust Liquid Soap Volume

  1. There are 5 different levels on the dispenser, it can be adjusted to your preferred soap output/volume level. The default setting is level 3.
  2. To increase the output/volume level, press the” + ” button. To decrease the output/volume level, press the ” – ” button.

Note: The Optimal sensing range between your hands and the sensor is 2.36in.

Maintenance

  • Turn the unit OFF by pressing and button for 3 holding the seconds. After the indicator light blinks RED, you may remove the tank cover, empty all soap and fill the tank with water.
  • Put the tank cover back on, then, with one hand holding the tank cover firmly, shake the unit.

  • Set the soap output level to MAX by pressing the “+” button. Operate the unit by sticking a sponge underneath the sensor area several times to allow the soapy water mixture to flow through the entire unit thus cleaning out the internal lines.
  • Once completed, pour out the remaining soap water mixture and clean the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth.

Troubleshooting

If soap isn’t dispensing

  • The unit is used for the first ttimee Make sure the 4 AA batteries are free ,sh Alkaline batteries with the same brand and make sure they have been inserted correctly. (Refer to the instructions on page 5.)
  • If the batteries are inserted correctly, check if the dispenser is on,and  press the ” + ” button to turn on the dispenser.
  • If the dispenser is on, place your hand under the sensor area several times until the soap begins to flow out of the spout.

The unit has been used for a while

  • Press the ” + ” button on the top of the unit, then place your hand under the sensor area, observing if this unit work normally.
  • The liquid soap could become congealed in the spout ordispensing tube due to lack of use of the dispenser or cold/dry weather. If that is the case, pour out any soap remaining in the tank, fill the tank with hot water, then operate the dispenser several times until the water begins to dispense from the spout (This may need 3-4 rounds of hot water to break up dried soap in the lines ) . Pour out any remaining water and refill the tank with liquid soap.

The soap is too thick

  • Turn the unit OFF first, empty any liquid soap, and rinse the soap tank out with hot water until it is clean.
  • Refill the soap tank with warm water, replace the tank cover and let it sit for 3-5 minutes.
  • Next, swirl the soap dispenser around in a circle for 30-45 seconds to let the warm water move around the soap tank.
  • Next, turn the unit ON, press the ” + ” button to set its largest output level. Then place your hand under the soap outlet and cycle it until a steady and clean stream of water dispenses.
  • Then turn the unit back OFF, pour out the water, and operate normally. Repeat if trouble still exists.

The batteries are at a low battery level

  • Replace all 4 AA Alkaline batteries

If the sensor isn’t working

The sensor area may be dirty. Turn the unit OFF (long-press the” ” button for 3s until the LED indicator lights up red). Clean the sensor area with a damp cloth or sponge. Then dry it with a towel, turn the unit back ON (Short press the ” + ” button until the LED indicator lights up green)

The battery compartment contains water.

If water has entered the battery compartment, dry the underside of the battery compartment with a dry towel. Unscrew the battery cover, remove batteries and let the battery compartment dry with the cover removed for 24 hours. Once dry, reinsert the batteries and reattach the cover. If corrosion is found inside the battery compartment, reach out to us from your order for assistance.

What type of soap can be used in this soap dispenser?

This automatic soap dispenser can work for most regular liquid soaps with a low concentration of alcohol, such as hand sanitizer, dish soap, shower gel, etc. Avoid soaps with exfoliants and beads or foaming liquid soaps When you use dish soap in it, its better to use your hand or light-colored sponge to trigger the sensor, the motion sensor will respond to our hands more sensitively than a dark-colored sponge, a dish, or other things As for the shower gel, it can work effectively, but we recommend that do not use it in the shower or bathtub because this unit is not completely waterproof. Note: Too thick soaps/liquids need to be diluted with an appropriate amount Of water SO that the liquid can work normally.

Can the soap output volume can be adjusted?

You can press the + button on the top of the dispenser to increase the soap output volume or press the - button to decrease the soap output volume. 5 liquid output levels in total Note: The distance between your hand and the motion sensor will influence the soap output volume, please under the motion sensor within 0-2.36in to get normal soap volume

Will it still dispense Out the liquid after you move your hand away?

Please note that the output volume of the liquid depends on the level you chose by the + and - buttons. Especially if you set the max level, please wait for the dispenser to finish its max amount ofoutput liquid then move your hands away. If you move your hands before it finished its liquid output, which may cause it to drip on the surface you placed it. Or you can set a smaller liquid output level to control it.

Can dark-colored objects (not hands) be sensed by this dispenser to dispense soap?

No, adopted with infrared sensor technology, this soap dispenserdoesnt work for dark-colored and transparent objects Dark-colored objects or transparent objects cant reflect the infrared and then cantlet the motion sensor receive the infrared signals successfully, so it may affect this dispenser to work normally. It is recommended to sense it directly under the motion sensor within 0-2.36inch by your hand or light-colored Objects

Can the PZOTRUF YM-201 be wall-mounted?

This model is designed as a countertop unit only.
