pTron Hook v2 Mini Bluetooth Speaker

Important: pTron mini Bluetooth speaker is set at 50% default volume. You can increase the volume through the Speakerorthrough the connected device.

Getting Started & Charging

1. Unbox the Speakers and remove all packaging materials.
2. Place the speakers on a flat surface.
3. Connect the USB Type-C cable to the charging port on the speaker’s backside, and connect the USB end of theChargingcable to a Power Source such as a USB Charger or other Charging Devices with a 5 volt output.
4. Charge the speakers fully before initial use for the best battery performance.

Bluetooth Pairing

1. Turn on the speakers by long-pressing the power button.
2. The speaker will enter pairing mode automatically.
3. On your smartphone or tablet, enable Bluetooth and search for nearby devices.
4. When you see “pTron BT speaker” in the list of available devices, select it to pair.

Note: If no device is connected within 5 minutes after turning on the speaker, the Speaker will automatically turn off.

LED light status

During charging: Red
Pairing mode: Blink blue
After pairing: Constant blue

Basic Operation

1. Power on/off: Turn on/off the speakers by long-pressing the Power button.
2. Next Button:
   a) Long Press the “Next” button for 2sec to increase the sound.
   b) Press One time “Next” button for next song.
3. Previous Button:
   a) Long Press the “Previous” button for 2sec to increase the sound.
   b) Press One time “Previous” button for previous song.
4. MFB Button:
   a) Long Press the “MFB” button for 2sec for TWS mode.
   b) Press One time “MFB” button to pause/play the song.
5. Calling Button:
   a) Long press the “Calling Button” for BT connecting and disconnecting.
   b) Single press the “Calling Button” for call answer/hang up.
   c) Double press the “Calling Button” for re-dial.
   d) long press the “Calling Button” for call reject.

TWS function

1. Turn on both speakers and long press the “MFB” button for 2 seconds on each speaker to enable TWS mode. Both speakers will respond with a voice prompt saying “TWS mode”.
2. Place both speakers within close proximity. The speakers will automatically connect to each other.
3. Now enable Bluetooth on your device and search for nearby devices.
4. When you see “pTron BT speaker” in the list of available devices, select it to pair. Now you can enjoy music with both speakers.
5. If you do not want to use TWS mode, long press the “MFB” button for 2 seconds again

Troubleshooting

Connectivity Issue 

1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both the speaker and the source device.
2. Move the devices closer to each other to avoid range issues.
3. Turn off other Bluetooth devices to avoid interference.
4. Reset the Bluetooth connection by forgetting the sound bar on yoursource device and then reconnecting.
5. Restart both the speaker and the source device.

Sound is distorted/low volume/low bass/low quality?

1. Check if the connected device does not have any equalizer settings applied.
2. Check if the problem still occurs if the device is moved closer and all obstacles in the middle are removed.
3. Check if the distortion or quality lowers at all volumes or only at high volumes.
4. Check the sound on different media players and different devices and if the distortion happens on all devices or onlyonspecific ones.
5. Check if the problem occurs at all levels of charging or only at low charging levels.

Important: Please use this speaker within a 10 metre wireless range from the connected device.

Safety Precautions

• Please keep this device away from extreme heat, liquids, humidity or corrosive environment.
• Please don’t over-charge the product as it will decrease the service life of battery.
• Using incompatible USB cable or high voltage chargers can damage the product & void the product warranty.Westronglyrecommend using a good quality DC5V-1A chargers & the USB cable included in the package.
• This product or the Bluetooth function should not be used during charging.
• Don’t jam the ports such as charger port, LED port, etc.
• It is recommended to utilize the product below the maximum volume in order to protect your hearing.
• Please don’t open/temper the product or product’s battery.
• Please keep the product out of children’s reach.
• Dispose the product responsibly and adhere to your local authority guidelines.
