WORKPLACE SECURITY
- Keep the area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas can cause accidents.
- Do not use power tools in explosive environments, e.g. in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
- Keep children and people away during the use of the tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control of the tool.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- POWER STATION IS NOT WATERPROOF and is not intended for use in showers, saunas or in potentially wet locations. ALWAYS keep this cord reel away from sinks, tubs, showers, etc. NEVER attempt to pick up plugged-in power tools or appliance should they fall into standing water. Electrocution could result!
- Where possible use a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) protected supply. Use of a GFCI reduces the risk of electric shock.
- Inspect before every use; do not use if parts are loose or damaged or if insulation is worn.
- Wear ANSI-approved safety goggles and heavy-duty work gloves during use.
- This Power Station MUST ALWAYS BE USED in accordance with all electrical and safety codes and ordinances, including the most recent National Electric Code (NEC) and with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) Volume 1 on General Industry Standards and interpretations.
- ALWAYS make certain that the power source conforms to the requirements on the Power Station.
- ALWAYS disconnect the power source before servicing or inspecting the Power Station for any reason.
- This Power Station is only for use on 110-125V AC 50-60Htz power and is equipped with an approved 3 conductor cord with a 3-prong, grounded plug. TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK, it should only be plugged into a properly grounded 3-prong outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs.
- The lead power cord comes equipped with a 3-prong grounded plug. DO NOT remove the third prong, modify the plug or use any 2 prong adapter plugs. If it will not fit the outlet, have the proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician. Improper connection of the grounding conductor can result in a risk of electrical shock.
- Maintain product labels and nameplates. These carry important safety information.
- This Power Station is intended for use as a general indoor power source, DO NOT use in potential dangerous locations, such as in flammable or explosive atmospheres.
- Do not use with heaters, generators, sump pumps, water-related devices, life support devices, medical devices, cars or motorcycles, golf-cart battery chargers, or aquariums.
- Avoid body contact with grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is grounded.
- Never open the lights or housing. There are no user serviceable parts inside and opening either renders any warranty null and void.
- Do not attach an extension cord to this item’s input cord.
- KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. This product is not a toy and is not intended for children. It is for adult use only.
- DO NOT handle this tool or try to plug it in when your hands are wet or damp or when you are standing on a wet or damp surface or in water.
