Product Usage Instructions
1. Connector Selection
Ensure to use a connector marked for the specific wire size and material. Do not use copper connectors on aluminium wire.
2. Wire Preparation
Strip the wire insulation to the length indicated on the tool chart. Avoid nicking or ringing the conductor strands.
3. Wire Cleaning
Clean the wire thoroughly before proceeding with the installation.
4. Connector Insertion
Insert the stripped wire into the connector until it reaches the end of the connector.
5. Crimping Process
Using the appropriate installation tool, insert the connector into the die and crimp it. Ensure to space crimps evenly along the barrel of the connector. Follow the required number of compressions as shown on the tool chart.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Use a connector marked for the wire size and wire material to be used. NEVER use a copper connector on aluminium wire.
- Strip wire insulation to the approximate length shown on tool chart. DO NOT nick or ring the conductor strands.
- Clean the wire.
- Insert the stripped wire into the connector until the wire stops.
- Using the installation tooling shown on the other side, insert the connector in die and crimp. Evenly spaced crimps on the barrel of the connector. Begin crimping near the tongue end of the lug and continue crimping toward the wire end. REQUIRED NUMBER OF COMPRESSIONS IS SHOWN ON THE TOOL CHART IN ( ). KC22 hex dies will emboss a die index number in the barrel of the lug for post-crimp inspection.
