This is an HDMI 4×1 Quad Multiviewer Switcher, with 4 HDMI inputs, and HDMI output displays video from four HDMI source devices simultaneously on a single monitor. Switch to and control any of the four source devices while monitoring the other three connections in real time It supports quad mode, full-screen mode and dual mode. HDMI signal resolution supported is up to 1080p@60Hz. It is widely used in many applications that require real-time monitoring of multiple devices, like DVD player, cameras and computers. It is the perfect solution for the applications need to monitor several sources at the same time. The OREI HD-401MR HDMI 4×1 switch links four HDMI sources to one HDMI display and provides five different display options, including single source, dual sources, and all four sources in three different view modes. When you have numerous sources displayed on the screen, you also have the choice of setting the Audio to a single particular source. Holding down the audio button on the HD-401MR for two seconds will also turn off the borders when several sources are being displayed. You may conveniently control the HD-401MR by connecting it to a computer and utilizing a remote control, on-device buttons, or RS-232 commands.

The HD-401MR is portable, strong, and simple to set up and operate. There is no lag and the change between sources is seamless. It supports 3D and displays and feeds that are up to full HD (1080p). Ideal for multi-HDMI user video conferencing systems, surveillance, live gaming, shopping centers, exhibition halls, stock exchanges, and display malls, among other applications. Frequently Asked Questions

Black screen or there is no signal on HDMI displays?
Please make sure the HDMI input source resolutions are supported by this HDMI multiviewer and the HDMI display devices; Please check and make sure the connections are connected well.
Display not fluent or stable?
Please check whether the image of the signal source itself is unstable Try to change cables, check and make sure the wire length is within the required range(HDMI cable: 1 to 5 meters). Please check whether the power adapter is standard or qualified with the same type of required.
In 2-screen mode what is the aspect ratio? Do the images provided show each side as a full screen? Shouldn’t they be letterboxed?
This device does not maintain an aspect ratio. It stretches the image if needed to fill the layout. So side-by-side the images are vertically stretched.

What happens if you have only 2 inputs in one of the “show 4” settings? Will each only take one of the 4 spots, or can it be made to cover 3 of the 4
If you only have two inputs and on the 4-way display it only takes 2 spots and the other 2 are just blank black screens.
Does this work with a vertical monitor?
No, It’s for landscape mode only.
Can the audio output from the small PIP?
You can select only one of the four audio inputs to get sound. For example, you can have video from input one and audio from input 4.

If the signal is cut off to the pip input, will the pip mode disengage, or will it continue to display a black pip box?
The black box in all modes. The mode will never automatically change.
Can this connect to the iPad?
Yes, it has 4 HDMI inputs so you will need an apple HDMI adaptor.
What is the dc barrel connector size on the power supply so a USB power supply adapter can be used?
I’ve bought multiple ones and depending on the version you get it can vary. The newer ones have a smaller plug.

Does the audio switch over instantly with no lag or dropouts?
Yes. Audio switches pretty much instantly. Delay of less than 1/2 second.
Does this unit pass through a signal when powered off? If so, which input?
No, it will need to be connected to power in order to pass through signals. It will not pass through when it’s powered off.
Can I use it with the camera?
Yes, as long as you have HDMI outputs on the Camera.
