QUICK START GUIDE
Thank you for choosing the OFFNOVA label printer! Before using this label printer for the first time, read this Quick Start Guide to set up and install your printer.
Get Your Printer Started
- Connect the label printer to your computer with the usb cable
- Pull the release latch to open the cover and load the label
Label Loading
The printer is capable of working with label width range from 1.57” to 4.1”. To print different labels correctly, you needs to identify your label size before printing.
- Make sure the green guides are touching the label sides. Then close the cover
- Turn the power on and wait 5 seconds for the printer to initiate (I: ON, O: OFF)
- Press and hold the Green Button. You will hear one short beep, then it’ll begin automatic label identification.
Please run the label size identification every time you change the label.
Printing Using a USB Cable
For Windows
- Download the driver from the USB driver attached or www.offnova.com Before the installation, please ensure the printer is connected and turned on.
- Run the driver and follow the instruction to finish the installation In Driver setup window, select the name and port, then click “Get USB port” to finish the installation.
To check If the Printer is connected successfully, right click on “This PC”, choose “Properties”.
Click on “Control Panel” -> “Devices and Printers” to find this printer.
- Set up the label size Right click on “Label Printer” -> “Printing Preferences”.
Go to the “Page Setup”, choose the size you need in “Paper Name”.
If there is no suitable label size for you, please click on “New” to create the needed size.
- Set up other preferences Go to the “Graphical” to set up other printer properties.
- Choose files to print the label samples
For Mac OS
- Download the driver from the USB driver attached or www.offnova.com Before the installation, please ensure the printer is connected and turned on.
- Run the driver and follow the instruction to complete the installation If the driver can not be opened, click OK to add permission onto it first.
Then go to the “System Preferences” -> “Security & Privacy”. Under “General”, click “Open Anyway” to set up. - Add OFFNOVA Printer on your Mac Book After installation, go to the “System Preferences” -> “Printer and Scanners”.
- Set up the label size Open a desired file and select “Print”. In the print window, click “Page Setup …”.
Select the paper size under the format for OFFNOVA Printer.
For MacBook Pro, click “Show Details” and select the paper size to match your label. If there is no suitable size for you label, please click on “Manage Custom Sizes” to create new size. - Set up other preferences Click “Page Setup …” -> ” Printer Features” under “Pages”
Set up your printer properties such as Media Tracking, Darkness and Print speed.
For MacBook Pro, just select “Printer Features” in “Preview” to set up the printer properties.
