1. Installation Video

STEP 1: How to install the ViaBecs Highlander radio.

2. Check Your Factory Radio

Model Number: SYFT7210

Model A: 2014-2019 Toyota Highlander

Compatibility with Original functionality: with JBL Amplifier, with backup camera or 360 camera, A/C info, USB Cable, TPMS info.

Proper Wiring Harness: CAN004-X (Not included)

Note: The No.5 & 6 port is the Camera Connector. Only connect one of them.

Description of Radio Front:

The front of the radio features a large touchscreen display. On the left side, there are physical buttons labeled PWR-VOL, AUDIO, HOME, APPS, and TUNE-SCROLL.

Description of Radio Back and Connectors:

The back of the radio shows various ports and connectors. A diagram illustrates the CAN004-X wiring harness with numbered connections:

• 1: Canbus box
• 2: Red: Male AUX R OUT to Female AUX R IN
• 3: White: Male AUX L OUT to Female AUX L IN
• 4: Male rear camera (16PIN)
• 5: Male rear camera (24PIN)
• 6: 10PIN CAM VIN & Wifi Line
• 7: 8PIN Canbus Port
• 8: 4PIN USB adapter
• FM/AM Radio Antenna

Note: You need to connect one of No.4 or No.5 male rear camera lines.

Connecting Factory Backup Camera:

S1: Connect the yellow male camera RCA of (CAN004-X) with the PIN10 Rear CAM VIN. No. 8 Or No. 11 CAMERA Connector.

Note: The image provided shows a Nissan Wiring harness as a reference.

Description of Camera Connection Diagram:

The diagram shows how to connect the camera. It indicates to 'Only connect the male RCA camera line with 10PIN female line'. It details connecting the Yellow RCA Male CAM VIN line of the harness with the 10 PIN RCA Female CAM-IN line for both 24PIN and 16PIN CAMERA CONNECTORS.

3. Connect CAN004-X harness with factory harness

Note: You don't need to connect all factory connectors. Some functions will be lost after you removed the factory radio.

The wiring harness can support factory backup camera, JBL AMP, Factory USB and SWC etc.

2. Set up the options for Canbus

S1: Connect the head unit with your Phone hotspot or wifi first.

Press Car Settings ➔ Factory ➔ Select Models ➔ password is 123456 ➔ Model choose.

S2: Choose CanBox Brand: 03: Simple Soft ➔ 30: Toyota ➔ 14: Models: All New Highlander ➔ Config: Public

Finally, press OK to save the settings. The head unit will update automatically.

Please click Theme app ➔ Setting ➔ Plugin ➔ Speed Unit. You can change to KPH to MPH.

Q4: How do I update the ViaBecs TS10 software?

You can update the system and MCU online. Please connect your home wifi first, and then open the car setting app ➔ about ➔ Detection Update.

S1. You need to connect wifi to activate Tlink when you use it at the first. How to find the wifi. Please drop down Quick Setting Menu. And then a long-press wifi icon to turn on it. and then you can try to connect your phone hotspot first. Note: Please clear the Tlink usage record first.

S2. If Tlink still asks you to put the auth_key, please take a clear photo of the QR activating code and then send me.

1. Please click "About" on the Tlink app
2. Choose the first option (Wireless Carplay + Wireless Android Auto + Wired Android Auto)
3. Then click the "refresh" to get the new QR code
4. Take a photo and send it to me

Note: the code will be invalid if the time is too long. and then our engineer will scan the QR code to activate it.
