FAQS
What replacement needles fit this?
Search “793-d7m pt” in eBay, they’re under 10$ & work very well with the pt-01
Diamond Needle is perfect for nonskip
Can you hook this up to a modern receiver and if so would i need a preamp?
Numark support here! There are line-level RCA outputs on the PT01 Scratch that will allow you to use this with a modern receiver. If you have any other questions, please feel free to email me directly at mvieira@inmusicbrands.com.
How can you record the audio when you scratch?
Numark support here! If you have any audio recording software on your computer, you can go from the Line Out of the PT01 Scratch
to the audio input of your computer. From there, you can record anything that’s playing from the PT01 Scratch to the audio recording software, including the scratches. If you have any other questions, please feel free to email me directly at mvieira@inmusicbrands.com.

Yes works fine you can get 7 inch serato records off ebay
Can you hook two up to a mixer
Yes, just hook them up like cdjs(plug into line inputs)
What’s a good preamp to connect to this turntable? $30 bucks or less?
Behringer One. They have a best bang for a buck
can you play records in addition to scratch? what if I just want to play my vinyl albums, will it work?
Yes. It works as a regular record player. It was originally developed to be a portable, all in one turntable, mixer, with a soeaker that runs on batteries.
Does the tone arm have a decent counterweight? I’ve got some old wobbly records and need some good time arm inertia to keep the needle from skipping.
The counterweight on the PT01 Scratch isn’t adjustable, but it does provide great traction for most if not all records! For further support on this subject, please contact us directly – amzsupport@numark.com
does this work with a regular vinyl
12 inch regular vinyl
What replacement do needles fit this?
Search “793-d7m pt” in eBay, they’re under 10$ & work very well with the pt-01
Diamond Needle is perfect for non-skip
Is this able to scratch 12 inch records too? Not just 7 inch records?
You can scratch 12 inch records but it will be difficult to perform successfully since the 12 inch record will take up most of the PT01and the record will hang over the edge a significant amount as well. I would stick with 7 inch records for scratching and 12 inch records
just for listening.
Does the PT01 Scratch come with slip mat?
yes it comes with a red slip mat.
