Instruction Manual
X.COM 3 Bluetooth Communication System
At NEXX, we do not just engineer helmets, we tech emotions.
We believe in the heat of passion – parts of life getting new blood.
HELMETS FOR LIFE is our motto, beyond the protection, past excellence, that any motorcyclist regardless of age or style lives the moment they wear NEXX.
Please read this manual very carefully before wearing your helmet and keep it in a safe place. For a correct use and for your safety, please pay attention to following instructions. The main function of the helmet is to protect your head in case of impact. This helmet is made to absorb some of the energy of a blow by partial destruction of its component parts and, even though damage may not be apparent, any helmet which has suffered an impact in an accident or received a similarly severe blow or other abuse should be replaced.
To maintain the full efficiency of this helmet, there must be no alteration to the structure of the helmet or it´s component parts, without the approval of the Type Approval Authority, that may decrease safety for the user. Only homologated accessories will maintain the helmet safety.
No component or device may be fitted to or incorporated in the protective helmet unless it is designed in such a way that it will not cause injury and that, when it is fitted to or incorporated in the protective helmet, the helmet still complies with the requirements of the homologation.
No accessory shall be mounted on the helmet if some of the symbols, other than location fitting symbols, marked in the accessory homologation is not marked in the helmet homologation label.

WARNING
This helmet can be used with the face cover opened or closed, as it´s homlogated for P (protective) and J (jet).
NEXX recommends that the chin bar should be completely closed at riding for complete protection.
- Do not use the helmet if the visor has not been assembled properly.
- Do not remove the side mechanisms from the chin bar.
- Should any of the side mechanisms fail or be damaged, please contact a NEXXPRO Authorized dealer
- Do not use the chin deflector to open and close the mask, this can damages the piece or it may come loose.
- Riding with the face cover open may create wind drag, causing the face cover to close. This may obstruct your view and can be very dangerous. To avoid this, when ridding with open face cover make sure the locker button is in locked position.
To ensure a full face protection, always have the face cover closed and locked while riding your motorcycle. - Do not hold the button while closing the face cover. This can cause the face cover lock to fail to engage.
A face cover that is not locked may open unexpectedly during riding and lead to an accident.
After closing the face cover, be sure to check that it is locked. - When carrying the helmet, be sure to close the face cover and check that it is locked. Carrying the helmet with the face cover unlocked can cause sudden opening of the face cover and the helmet may be dropped or become damaged.
- With the chin open and the ‘P/J’ button activated in ‘J’ lock mode, it withstands a maximum closing force of up to 13.5 Nm.
HOW TO CLEAN THE VISOR
To clean the visor without affecting its characteristics should be used only soapy water (preferably distilled) and a soft cloth. If the helmet is deeply dirty (ex.Insect remains) can add a little liquid from the dish to water.
Remove the visor from the helmet before carrying a deeper cleaning. Never use objects to clean the helmet that may damage/scratch the visor. Always store the helmet in a dry place and protected from light, preferably in the bag provided by NEXX HELMETS.HOW TO REMOVE THE VISOR
