X2 GROUNDING KIT
INSTRUCTIONS

Figure 1: Insert the adapter into one of the threaded holes on the X2.

1. Place the largely included lock-washer over the larger diameter end of the threaded adapter.
   a. Tighten the adapter into any of the available (3) threaded holes on the X2 using a 1/2” socket or hex driver.Figure 1: Insert the adapter into one of the threaded holes on the X2.
2. Position the grounding lug, followed by the small lock-washer and nut on top of the threaded adapter.
   a. Tighten down the nut using a 7/16” socket or hex driver.
3. Use a 5/32” Allen wrench to tighten down the ring terminal cable to the grounding lug.Figure 3: Connection between the grounding lug and terminal cable.
4. Follow the PM2 quick start card to mount the X2 to the buried 2” NPT pipe or another mount.
5. Slip the ring terminal of the cable between the washer and lock-washer on one side of the PM2 U-bolt.
   a. Tighten securely with a 1/2” socket or hex driver.
