NEXSENS SVS-603 SeaView Wave Sensor
The Seaview SVS-603 wave sensor is a highly accurate MEMS-based sensor that reports heading, wave height, wave period and wave direction via RS-232. A custom housing allows for easy attachment to a NexSens X2-CB data logger.
SVS-603 Buoy Mounting
- Locate the sensor mount at the center of the X2-CB data logger plate.
- Align the SVS-603 screw holes with those of the mounting base and gently press down.
- Install the hex screws into the holes using the included 3/16” driver to secure the S500 to the buoy plate.
Data Logger Connection
- Setup your data logger on WQData LIVE by:
- Following the Quick Start Guide included with your order.
- Visiting NexSens Knowledge Base | Data Logger | User Guides on the NexSens website.
- Once this is completed:
- Plug the sensor into the data logger.
- After the next logger reading, confirm that the sensor is uploaded to the WQData LIVE project, and is showing valid readings.
- Gather a few readings before deployment.
