NESPRESSO PIXIE Coffee Machine Instruction Manual

To start the descaling mode on your Nespresso Pixie, please follow these steps based on the instruction manual:

• Preparation: Turn the machine ON. Empty the drip tray and the used capsule container. Fill the water tank with 0.5 L of water and add the Nespresso descaling liquid. Place a container (minimum volume 1 L) under the coffee outlet.
• Enter Descaling Mode: Ensure the machine is on and the lever is closed. Press both the Espresso and Lungo buttons simultaneously for at least 6 seconds. Both LEDs will flash to indicate you have entered descaling mode.
• Start the Cycle: Press the Lungo button and wait until the water tank is empty.
• Refill and Repeat: Refill the water tank with the used descaling solution collected in the container and repeat the process by pressing the Lungo button again.
• Rinse: Empty and rinse the water tank. Fill it with fresh potable water. Press the Lungo button to rinse the machine. Repeat the rinsing step twice.
• Exit: To exit the descaling mode, press both the Espresso and Lungo buttons simultaneously for at least 5 seconds.

If the buttons do not flash after holding them for 6 seconds, ensure the machine is not in the middle of a heating cycle and that the lever is fully closed.
