Nespresso Pixie

Overview
The Nespresso Pixie machine features the following components:
- 1 Buttons: For selecting Espresso or Lungo coffee sizes.

- 3 Lever: Used to open the capsule compartment and brew coffee.
- 4 Used capsule container: Collects used coffee capsules.

First Steps
Remove the Dust: Before first use, wipe down the machine with a damp cloth.
On / Off
The machine automatically turns off after 2 minutes of inactivity.
To turn the machine on or off manually, press and hold both the Espresso and Lungo buttons simultaneously for less than 1 second.
First Rinsing
- Fill the water tank with 1 liter of fresh water.
- Place a container with at least 1 liter capacity under the coffee outlet.
- Plug in the machine.
- Press the Lungo button. The machine will rinse itself.
- Once the rinsing cycle is complete, discard the water and repeat the process two more times (x2).
Coffee Preparation
- Ensure the water tank is filled.
- Turn on the machine by pressing the power button.
- Lift the lever to open the capsule compartment.
- Insert a Nespresso capsule.
- Close the lever.
- Place a cup under the coffee outlet.
- Press the desired coffee button (Espresso or Lungo). The indicator lights will show the brewing process.
- Once brewing is complete, lift the lever to eject the used capsule into the container.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Nespresso Pixie machine.
Cleaning
- The machine is not dishwasher safe.
- Clean the exterior with a soft, damp cloth.
- Empty and rinse the used capsule container and drip tray regularly.
Descaling
Descaling is recommended every 2-3 months, or when the machine indicates it is needed (e.g., blinking lights).
- Empty the used capsule container and drip tray.
- Fill the water tank with 0.5 liters of water and add one Nespresso descaling agent sachet.
- Place a large container (at least 1 liter) under the coffee outlet.
- Press and hold both the Espresso and Lungo buttons for at least 6 seconds to enter descaling mode. The lights will blink.
- Press the Lungo button to start the descaling process.
- Once the process is complete, rinse the water tank and refill it with fresh water.
- Run two full tanks of fresh water through the machine to rinse out any descaling solution.
