DESCRIPTION
The company GROUPE LDLC (Our Company) provides the NEMEIO keyboard and its USB cable which constitute a set referred as “Equipment” in this information booklet. This device works if connected to a computer compatible with Windows 10, MacOS 12 and subsequent more recent versions. To benefit from the advanced features of the Equipment, you must download and install the “NEMEIO Keyboard Manager” software. A NEMEIO account is required to use the online sharing features of custom keyboard layouts. The creation of this account is free. (Internet connection required). The Equipment is intended for users from 15 years of age and older. Included in this box: a NEMEIO keyboard, a USB cable and an information booklet.
HOW TO USE NEMEIO
First time use
Before using it for the first time, you must connect your NEMEIO keyboard to a computer, to set it up and charge its battery. To do this, connect the supplied USB cable to the USB-C jack on the back of the keyboard, then connect the other end of the USB cable to a USB-A connector on your computer.
NEMEIO will power on automatically. We invite you to download the “NEMEIO Keyboard Manager” software from the website: https://nemeio.com/download to use the advanced functions of the keyboard. The role of the “NEMEIO Keyboard Manager” software is to enable the Equipment to have advanced features such as:
- Storing and managing keyboard layouts
- Customizing the display and functions of the keys
- Sharing keypad layouts with others
- Downloading numeric keypad layouts from a layout catalog or operating system.
Among its 80 keys, 56 can be customized both in terms of their display and their functions. The 24 function keys can only be customized at the display level.

WARNING! Please read and follow the safety instructions contained in this information booklet relating to the safety, installation, use and maintenance of the Equipment. Please also check that your computer peripheral, software and computer are compliant with safety norms.
If you allow another person to use the Equipment, make sure that they are aware of all the information and especially those related to safety during use. This Equipment is not a toy. Keep it out of reach from children.
Malfunctioning of the device
In the event of a problem, users must not attempt to repair the device themselves as this could be dangerous. The maintenance of this keyboard and its USB cable must be entrusted to qualified personnel of Our Company, or to a technical partner authorized by Our Company. Electrical safety / Risk of fire and explosion
The Equipment contains a lithium-polymer battery. Please follow the instructions in this booklet to reduce the risk of overheating, fire, burns or exposure to hazardous substances in the battery:
- Only use the supplied USB-C cable as stated in §1.
- Do not place the Equipment near anything that is vibrating or where it could get hit.
- Do not expose the device to high temperatures above 45°C / 113°F.
- Do not pour liquids or chemicals on the Equipment.
- Do not expose the device to high temperatures above 45°C / 113°F. Do not expose the Equipment to direct sunlight nor any other sources of heat. Do not put the Equipment in an oven or in microwave that is heating food.
- For optimal operation, the Equipment must not be exposed to temperatures below 10°C or over 35°C (50°F and 95°F). Please refer to the temperature conditions table in Chapter IV “Technical Specifications” below in this booklet for more information.
- Do not disassemble the battery or attempt to open it. To recycle it, or any other part of the Equipment, please contact an approved professional.
- Use a suitable power source to connect the supplied USB cable, such as your computer or a USB power adapter (DC 5V/500mA required). Do not use non-standard power sources such as a generator or a power supply from third-party hardware.
- Keep the Equipment in a dry place, away from moisture and do not pour any liquids or chemicals on it. Never handle the Equipment with wet hands.
- Do not use the Equipment if the keyboard or its USB cable has been damaged.
- To unplug a USB cable, gently pull on the USB connector and not on the cable, so as not to risk damaging it. Do not pull abru ptly on the cables connected to the Equipment. If you are using the Equipment while charging it, avoid stretching the USB cable so as not to pull on the connections.
- Check your cables regularly. If any of them get impaired, damaged, or get hot, stop using them.
Radiofrequency and interference
The NEMEIO keyboard has radio transmission technology that can interfere with the normal operation of nearby electronic devices. The Equipment uses frequencies that operate on a 2.4 GHz ISM band, with GFSK modulation and a low latency protocol.
Do not use if risk of danger or when prohibited
The Equipment must not be used in cases where a hardware failure may result in personal injury, death or damage to the environment. Do not use the Equipment in places or environments that prohibit the use of any electronic device or system that uses Bluetooth.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning
Before cleaning the device, unplug it from the power source and turn it off! Only the outside of the appliance should be cleaned, with a clean, dry cloth. Do not use cleaning fluids, wet wipes or chemicals to avoid the risk of electrocution and damage to the Equipment.
Storage and use of Equipment
Please use and store the Equipment in the appropriate conditions and environment that meet the physical and electrical safety standards described in this information booklet.

Limited Warranty
- Reminder: The European consumer has the legal right to remedies against the seller, free of charge, in the event of lack of conformity of the goods, and that the commercial warranty has no effect on these remedies.

- Provide proof of purchase in their name. The warranty can be exercised directly with Our Company upon presentation of the original invoice or receipt, the name of the reseller, the reference and the date of purchase of the product.
- Obtain a return agreement from Our Company after initial diagnosis.
- Return the product at their own risk and expense.
Upon receipt of the product, a technician approved by Our Company will establish a diagnosis and try to solve it by email. If the problem cannot be solved and provided that the defect is covered by this contractual warranty, Our Company will repair or change the product. If Our Company does not find any defect or problem upon receipt, the Company reserves the right to charge for the cost of the diagnosis. Goods can only be returned by post, unless otherwise stated.
Any return of goods requires the prior agreement of Our Company and a return number, which can be obtained free of charge via the contact details on the previous page of this document. You will receive a return agreement by whatever means deemed most appropriate. In the absence of a return agreement, the goods will be returned to you or held at your disposal, at your expense, risk and peril, all transport, storage, handling costs being at your expense. The goods are generally returned at your expense and risk. We therefore advise you to declare the value of the goods and take out transport insurance. After obtaining the return agreement, the buyer has a period of 7 days to return the defective goods to Our Company.

Our Company undertakes to ensure the replacement of defective parts and the repair of damage to the goods supplied to the customer, if our Company finds that the problem comes from a design defect. Our Company acquires ownership of the replaced appliances and parts. The warranty is limited, on the decision of Our Company, concerning the repair, replacement or refund for the value of products recognized as defective by Our Company, depending on how they have been used.
Exclusions
The warranty is excluded in the following cases: Lack of proof of purchase; Damage of external origin; Damage resulting from improper use; Repairs, modifications, changes or interventions by a repairer not authorized by Our Company; Damage caused by an event of force majeure; Damage caused by the use of incompatible products or software or not certified/supplied/licensed by NEMEIO; Product or software modified without the consent of Our Company (including capacity and functionality).
OUR COMPANY UNDERTAKES TO PERFORM ITS OBLIGATIONS WITH ALL DUE CARE. IT IS HOWEVER REMINDED THAT THE PRODUCT IS USED UNDER THE SOLE DIRECTION, CONTROL AND RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE LIABILITY OF OUR COMPANY MAY ONLY BE SOUGHT FOR COMPENSATION FOR DIRECT AND FORESEEABLE DAMAGE. OUR COMPANY SHALL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES INCUR LIABILITY FOR INDIRECT, MATERIAL OR IMMATERIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR UNFORESEEABLE LOSSES OR DAMAGES OF THE CUSTOMER OR THIRD PARTIES, WHICH INCLUDES, IN PARTICULAR, ANY LOSS OF PROFIT, LOSS, INACCURACY OR CORRUPTION OF FILES OR DATA, FINANCIAL OR COMMERCIAL LOSS, LOSS OF TURNOVER OR PROFIT, LOSS OF ORDERS OR CUSTOMERS, LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY, LOSS OF IMAGE, COST OF OBTAINING A SUBSTITUTE PRODUCT, SERVICE OR TECHNOLOGY, IN CONNECTION WITH OR ARISING FROM THE NON-PERFORMANCE OR FAULTY PERFORMANCE OF THE SERVICES AS WELL AS ANY ACTION DIRECTED AGAINST THE CUSTOMER BY A THIRD PARTY.
MAXIMUM LIABILITY.
OUR COMPANY SHALL ONLY BE LIABLE IN THE EVENT OF PROVEN FAULT. IF OUR COMPANY IS HELD LIABLE BY THE CUSTOMER FOR DIRECT AND FORESEEABLE DAMAGE SUFFERED BY THE CUSTOMER, THE CUSTOMER’S RIGHT TO COMPENSATION SHALL BE LIMITED, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FOR ALL CAUSES AND FOR THE ENTIRE DURATION OF THE CONTRACT, TO THE AMOUNT OF THE SUMS INVOICED FOR THE PRODUCT.
EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY. THE LIABILITY OF OUR COMPANY IS EXCLUDED IN THE FOLLOWING CASES: FORCE MAJEURE; DEFAULT OF PAYMENT BY THE CUSTOMER; NON-PERFORMANCE OR POOR PERFORMANCE BY THE CUSTOMER OF ANY OF ITS OBLIGATIONS; MISUSE OF THE SOLUTION; MALFUNCTION CAUSED BY THE CUSTOMER OR ANY THIRD PARTY NOT AUTHORIZED BY OUR COMPANY; LOSS OF DATA; VIRUSES PRESENT IN THE CUSTOMER’S FILES; FAILURE OF THE INTERNET NETWORK; ANY COMPUTER ATTACK FROM A THIRD PARTY; FORCE MAJEURE.
