  • Fasten off the yarn on the first leg.

  • Sc onto the first loop of the first leg again, then sc into the last loop of the 2nd leg.

  • R8: sc, 2dec, 3sc, 2dec, 2sc (10) Stuff the tail.
  • Sew onto the body between rounds 11-12. Make sure it’s on the tail end of the body

Fins

(White yarn) Make 2

  • R1: 4 sc in magic ring (4)
  • R2: (sc, inc) x2 (6)
  • R3: (2sc, inc) x 2 (8)
  • R4-5: 8 sc (8)
  • Fasten off.
  • Sew onto rounds 12-13. Left fin is one stitch to the left of the left eye. Right fin is one stitch to the right of the right eye.

Seaweed (Black yarn)

  • R1: 40 ch
  • R2: 39 hdc

Lanyard (White yarn)

  • R1: 18 ch
  • R2: 17 sc

Egg (Yellow yarn)

  • R1: 13ch
  • R2-10: second from the ch, 12sc, ch, turn (13)
  • R11: Sc all around the egg

Assembly

  • Sew the egg piece onto the body of the seal.
  • Place the seaweed in the middle of the salmon.
  • Sew in the seaweed from the bottom of the seal.
  • Sew the lanyard on the top of the seal’s head.
