INTRODUCTION
Product Description:
- Trapezoid fountain shown in Corten steel. Also available in Stainless steel. Water sculpture includes anchor plate. The panels can be inverted with narrow or wide base to create a unique visual effect.
- The Trapezoid with its imposing rusting walls and precipitous cascading waterfalls, mimics earth’s vast mountain ranges and rocky seaside cliffs. The organic nature of Corten steel made with copper, iron and chromium, fascinates as it ages; changing color and pattern, reminiscent of retreating waves on a sandy beach. This fountain can be a stand alone architectural element or combined with the M-series fountains for a large scale installation.
- Low splash radius with soothing waterfall sound makes the Trapezoid fountain ideal for creating white noise in exterior space. Adjustable water flow to control splash radius and surface water tension.

Fountain Maintenance
- Corten steel is designed to rust and requires a period of time before the patina sets.
- Corten steel being a permeable material can be coated with a commonly used clear sealer to improve water resistance, extending the life of the sculpture.
- All stainless steel Modfountains are finished by electro-polishing which creates “good bright finish” 35 times more resistant to corrosion than hand polishing.

Pond Maintenance
- Avoid using salt based water treatment chemicals as it can accelerate rusting. We recommend EcoSolv liquid pond cleaner.

Pump Box
The MODFOUNTAIN Pump Box is a galvanized or stainless steel platform. Designed to conceal the submersible pump and can be used as a stand alone platform or bolted into a concrete pool. Designed to be used with The Wave, Y series and X series Modfountains.

- Can I use salt-based chemicals in the pond?
- Avoid salt-based water treatment chemicals as they can accelerate rusting. Use EcoSolv liquid pond cleaner for maintenance.
- How do I maintain Corten steel fountains?
- Apply a clear sealer to improve water resistance and extend the life of the sculpture. Allow time for the rust patina to develop.
