HiBy W3II Bluetooth Decoding Amplifier
Product Overview
The HiBy W3II is a Bluetooth decoding amplifier featuring the latest UAT (Ultra Audio Transmission) technology. It supports high-resolution audio formats up to 192kHz/1.2Mbps and a variety of HD Bluetooth codecs, including aptX HD, aptX, LDAC, AAC, and SBC. It also supports CVC noise reduction for clear calls.
Device Description
The device features the following components:
- ① 3.5mm headphone jack: Supports 3-segment (TRS) and 4-segment (CTIA-spec TRRS) headsets.
- ② Microphone.
- ③ LED indicators:
- Red: Charging complete (solid) / Low battery or charging (flashing).
- Blue: Bluetooth connection successful (solid).
- Red & Blue flashing: Waiting for connection.
- Green: Sample rate 44.1kHz – 48kHz.
- White: Sample rate 88.2kHz – 192kHz.
- ④ NFC: For quick Bluetooth connection (supports near-field receiving).
- ⑤ Power button:
- A. Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn on.
- B. Hold down for 5 seconds to connect Bluetooth when powered off.
- C. Short press to pause/play or answer/reject phone call.
- ⑥ Volume+ button: Long press for previous track.
- ⑦ Volume- button: Long press for next track.
- ⑧ USB-C port: For data transfer and charging.
UAT - Ultra Audio Transmission Technology
What is UAT?
UAT is a high-definition Bluetooth codec independently developed by HiBy. It supports audio sampling frequencies up to 192kHz and bitrates up to 1.2Mbps. The bit rate is classified into high (1.2Mbps), mid (900kbps), and low (600kbps) grades.
How to use UAT?
UAT is compatible with all HiBy OS devices, supporting both UAT sending and receiving.
Connectivity and Control
Connecting to a Mobile Phone
1. Enter pairing mode on the W3II. 2. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile phone and navigate to Bluetooth settings. 3. Select "pair with new devices". 4. Choose "W3II" from the Bluetooth search list and confirm pairing. Pairing will be successful.
Mobile App Control
HiBy has developed a dedicated mobile application, "HiBy Blue," for its Bluetooth devices. This app allows users to perform operations such as EQ adjustments, gain control, and firmware upgrades directly from their mobile phone.
Special Functions
Clear Pairing
While the device is powered on, simultaneously press and hold the Volume+ and Volume- buttons.
RESET Option
When the device is powered on, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds.
