    Question

Why does my MicroTouch Titanium Head Shaver blink 3 times and shut off, and how do I replace the battery?

    Answer

Based on the MicroTouch Titanium Head Shaver manual, here is how to address your power and battery concerns:

    • Blinking and Power Issues: When the battery is running low, the power indicator LED will flash to indicate you have approximately 10 minutes of shaving time left. If it blinks and shuts off immediately, the battery is likely depleted. Plug the unit into a power source using the included USB-C cable. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours; the light will flash during charging and turn off when complete.
    • Travel Lock: You mentioned trying to lock/unlock the device. To ensure it is unlocked, press and hold the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds. If the light flashes only once when pressed, it is still locked.
    • Battery Replacement: The battery in this device is not user-replaceable. The manual states that the battery must be removed by a professional only when the appliance is being scrapped/disposed of. You should not attempt to open the device or replace the battery yourself as it may present a risk of fire or chemical burn.

If the unit still fails to turn on after a full 3-hour charge, please contact MicroTouch customer service at 1(888) 616-6466 or email CustomerService@MicroTouchProducts.com.

    Question

Why is my MicroTouch Titanium Head Shaver not turning on or charging even after cleaning?

    Answer

If your MicroTouch Titanium Head Shaver is unresponsive and will not charge, please check the following troubleshooting steps:

    • Check the Travel Lock: The device features a safety lock. Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds. If the power indicator LED flashes 5 times, the unit was locked and should now turn on.
    • Verify Charging Connection: Ensure the USB-C charging port is completely dry before plugging it in. Use only the charging cable provided with the product. While charging, the power indicator on top of the unit should flash; it will turn off once fully charged (approximately 3 hours).
