Lifesmart support FAQ

Nga patai noa mo nga pukapuka pukapuka, te rehitatanga me te tautoko mo tenei waitohu.

  • Why does my Lifesmart heater emit an odor when I first turn it on?

This is normal. The heater is treated with a safe, heat-resistant coating that may produce a slight odor when exposed to heat for the first time. The smell should dissipate after the break-in period.

  • My Lifesmart hot tub is not heating. What should I check?

Ensure the spa is connected to a dedicated power source and the GFCI has not tripped. Check that the temperature setting is correct and the cover is securely in place to retain heat. If issues persist, contact customer service.

  • Can I use an extension cord with my Lifesmart heater?

No. Lifesmart heaters should be plugged directly into a grounded 120V wall outlet. Using an extension cord or power strip may cause overheating, fire hazards, or damage to the unit.

  • Where is the serial number located on my product?

For spas, the serial number label is typically inside the equipment compartment below the control panel. For heaters, it is located on the back of the unit.

  • What does the ECO mode do on my heater?

ECO mode maintains the temperature strictly at 68°F (20°C). It alternates between high and low wattage to maintain this temperature efficiently, reducing energy consumption.
