MaxiAids 703270 Talking Low Vision Count Down Timer
Using Instructions
This product requires 2 AAA batteries.
- Insert the batteries into the battery compartment located on the back of the timer
- The display will show “0:00 00” if the batteries have been installed correctly.
- To set the countdown timer, press the “HOUR” button to set the hour and /or the “MINUTE” button to set the minute continuously until the desired time is displayed and announced.
- Once the desired time has been announced, press the “ON/OFF” button to start, and the timer will say “ countdown timer is ON”.
- To turn off the timer counter, just press the “ON/OFF” button again. It will say” countdown timer is off and announce the current time”.
- To continue the timer countdown, press the “ON/OFF” button again. It will announce the current time left and keep the countdown again.
- To hear the remaining time left at any point, press the “TALKING” button once.
- The timer will announce the left time from 10, 9, 8 …..to 1 for the last 10 seconds.
- Once the timer countdown is complete, the timer announces “0 hour, 0 minute” and has a beep beep sound. To turn the timer alarm off, press the “ON/OFF” button once.
- To clear the timer while still in countdown mode, press the “ON/OFF” button for 3 seconds. The timer will announce “Timer Off”, and the display will show “0:00 00. Then, press the “HOUR” or “MINUTE” key to reset the time and minute.
- The maximum countdown time is 23 hours and 59 minutes.
