Tip: Long press the Power On/Off button to shut down the printer, or it automatically shuts down if left for 30 minutes.

Type-C Input
5V 2A input for charging. The product
does not come with a power adapter, a standard Type-C charging plug is sufficient.
BATTERY: 7.4V/500mAh,3.7V/1000mAh, 1.5 hours to be fully charged.
Please charge at intervals of 3 months for long periods of non-use so that the lithium battery does not wear out naturally over time.
How to install the labels?
Tip: This printer can only print on 12mm/16mm label paper. Please use the  official Makeid label, otherwise it might damage the printer or cause poor printing.
Step 1: When using a new label, pull the transparent label lead all the way out to the horizontal line mark. Step 2: Close the top cover and press the cutter to cut, then edit and print in the APP. Tip: Red indicator means incorrect labels installation
How to connect your phone to the printer?
Step 1:
Download the APP, and turn on the Bluetooth.
Step 2:
Open the APP, and agree with permissions. (To guarantee the connection, no any privacy risks)
Step 3:
Select “L1-A” for first-time users.
Step 4:
Click on the right top of the APP to search the device, and then click to connect.How to correctly print the label?

Continuous label printing

1. Choose the Continuous Label on the APP home page
2. Click”“to edit the text.
   Click” “to change the font.
3. Click” “to add more icons.
4. Click” t” to print. You may select multiple copies for batch printing.
5. When the printing is finished, press the cutting button to cut the label.

Gapped label printing

1. Choose the gapped Label on the APP home page.(Make sure interval label paper has been put in the printer beforehand.)
2. Select the corresponding label size (Tip: Wrong size may result in misplaced printing )
3. Click” A “to edit the text.
4. Click” Print “to print. Select batch printing.

Since the first gapped label identifies the label position and may not print completed, from the second gapped label on, it can be printed normally, which is a normal situation. (When gapped label is replaced or the printer cover is opened, the label position will be re-identified.)
How to use the label?
Step 1: Remove the back paper from the back of the label.Step 2: Stick the label onto any dry and smooth objects.
Common troubleshooting:

1. Unable to connect to the printer with the phone.
   a: Make sure the printer is powered on and the Bluetooth has also been turned on.
   b: The APP agreed to all permissions.
   c: Power off the printer, uninstall and re-install the APP, and agree to all permissions to connect again
2. The printer’s red indicator flashes.
   a: If the label is correctly installed. (For new labels, the transparent leading tape needs to be removed before using. Then, pull the label to the line mark.).
   b: please make sure the printer’s top cover is securely locked.
3. Abnormal printed text or pattern
   a: Restart the printer. Logout the APP and try again.
   b: Restart the printer. Uninstall and re-install the APP and try again.

4. Blurred printing
   a: Using under low temperature situation may result in blurred printing. Recom-mended temperature range: 10°C-35°C.
   b: Try to adjust to the highest print density by clicking “Printer Density” in the Device Management Setting.
   c: The print head may be dirty, please wipe the print head gently with alcohol, and wait for 2 minutes before use it again.

MAKEID
Two-year warranty
MAKEID product is covered by a 2-year warranty period from the date of purchase. During the warranty period, MAKEID shall repair or replace your product free of charge due to quality and functionality problems.

1. To repair or replace your product within the warranty period, you must provide the order number, your contact details and shipping details, which include your name, phone number, full address, street number, zip code, city, country info.
2. The product must be used strictly in accordance with the operational manual provided. MAKEID shall not be liable for any problems caused by accident, misuse, modification or negligence.
3. MAKEID shall not be liable for any consequential loss, damage or expense arising from the use of its machines or accessories, nor shall it be liable for death or serious injury caused by such products.
4. Products returned to MAKEID must be in full packaging. MAKEID will not hold any responsibilities for products lost or damaged by customers during shipping.
5. MAKEID label printers are exclusively designed for use of MAKEID label paper. This warranty does not cover any failure or damage caused by the use of any third party label papers.
6. This warranty does not affect your legal rights as a consumer.

Under the environment with Electrostatic Discharge Test Results the sample may be disconnected, but it can be resumed to normal operation by user after test.
