Responsible for Your Hearing
To avoid hearing loss, please follow these guidelines:
- Turn down the volume of your music player before wearing the headphones.
- After putting on the headphones, slowly adjust the volume to a suitable level.
- Be aware that noise is measured in decibels (dB). Prolonged exposure to noise levels of 85 dB or higher can gradually cause hearing loss.
- Monitor your usage; hearing loss is often a result of excessive noise and duration. The louder the sound, the less time you should expose yourself to it. The softer the sound, the longer you can listen.
- For more information on establishing safe listening levels and other safety guidelines, please visit the Consumer Electronics Association website at www.ce.org.
- For important information on preventing noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) and a comprehensive list of noise sources that can cause hearing loss, please refer to the website of the Foundation for the Study of the Hearing Impairment at www.drf.org.
Battery Usage Note
- There is a risk of explosion if the battery is replaced improperly. Batteries should only be replaced with the same type or an equivalent type. It is not recommended to replace the battery without authorization; it can be returned to the manufacturer for replacement.
- The battery pack or battery cell should not be exposed to conditions such as direct sunlight, fire, or similar overheating environments.
