3. Powering On and Driver Installation

Powering On:

  2. Press the power button on the Cintiq Pro 17.

Driver Installation:

  1. Visit wacom.com/download.
  2. Locate and download the latest driver for your Wacom Cintiq Pro 17 model.
  3. Run the downloaded installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Wacom Center: After installation, you can use the Wacom Center application to adjust settings, customize ExpressKeys, and manage your pen display.

Display Settings: To adjust display settings (brightness, contrast, etc.), press the "Display Settings" button on the device. The ExpressKeys will then function as on-screen display (OSD) controls.

Stand Setup

Proper setup of the stand is important for stability and ergonomics for the Wacom Cintiq Pro 17.

  1. Place the Wacom Cintiq Pro 17 on a soft, flat surface like a towel, with the display screen facing down.
  2. Attach the included Easy Stand to the back of the display using the provided wrench and screws. The stand is designed to be stable and adjustable.
  3. If the stand feels unstable, use the adjuster knob to fine-tune its position for maximum stability.
  4. The pen tray can be attached to either side of the display, allowing you to customize its placement based on your dominant hand and work style.

Caution: Using the Wacom Cintiq Pro 17 without a stand can lead to instability, potential damage to the ExpressKeys, and a risk of injury. Always use the product with a stand as instructed.

Note on Stands: The Wacom Cintiq Pro 17 requires a stand. You can use the included Easy Stand, the optional Wacom Cintiq Pro 17 Stand, or any other stand that complies with the VESA standard (75 x 75 mm). Wacom recommends using the dedicated Wacom Cintiq Pro 17 Stand for optimal performance.

Pen Customization

Personalize your Wacom Pro Pen for a comfortable drawing experience.

  1. To adjust the pen's weight, you can insert balance weight pieces into the pen body.
  2. Remove the side switch from the pen.
