Connecting Your Cintiq Pro

Connect your Wacom Cintiq Pro to your computer using one of the following methods, depending on your PC's available ports:

Setup Steps

  1. Step 1: Connect Power

    Connect the power adapter to the power cable and plug it into a wall outlet.

  2. Step 2: Manage Cables

    Bundle all connected cables together and secure them using the provided cable ties for a tidy setup.

  3. Step 3: Power On

    Press the power button [power-symbol] on the display to turn it on.

  4. Step 4: Install Drivers

    Visit wacom.com/download. Locate and download the latest driver for your Wacom Cintiq Pro model. Run the downloaded installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

  5. Step 5: Adjust Settings

    Open the Wacom Center application on your computer to configure settings. To adjust display settings directly on the Cintiq Pro, press the "Display Settings" button and use the ExpressKeys [expresskey-icon] to navigate and select options from the on-screen menu.

Pen Customization

You can customize the feel and ergonomics of your pen:

Changing the Grip

  1. Remove the side switch.
  2. Remove the rear case.
  3. Insert the rubber grip.
  4. Align the side switch holes on the pen and the rubber grip.
  5. Attach the side switch.
  6. Install the rear case.

Adjusting Pen Weight

You can increase the pen's weight by inserting balance weight pieces. The pen includes pieces with different weights (labeled [weight-A] and [weight-B]). Inserting them in different orientations allows you to customize the drawing feel and comfort. Adjust to your preference.

Stand and Accessories

The Wacom Cintiq Pro 27 requires a stand for stable operation and optimal use.

Pen Tray

The pen tray can be attached to either side of the display, allowing you to position it according to your preferred hand dominance and work style.

Extension Table (Optional)

An Extension Table, sold separately, can be attached to the display. This provides a surface to place items like a keyboard or smartphone.

Stand Requirement and Options

You can use the official Wacom Cintiq Pro 27 Stand (sold separately) which allows for angle and height adjustment and display rotation [rotate-icon]. Alternatively, any stand that complies with the VESA standard (100 x 100 mm) can be used.

Caution

⚠️ Using the Wacom Cintiq Pro without a stand is not recommended. It may damage the ExpressKeys and lead to instability during use, potentially causing injury. Always use the product with a stand as instructed. The product weight is less than 3kg.
