Technical Data
- Maximum operating distance: 8 meters.
- Battery: CR2450 (3V) lithium.
Installation
General Instructions:
- Fix the bracket (A) in the desired position using the supplied screws (B). (See Fig. 2)
- Verify the operating distance as indicated in the table in Fig. 3.
Caution: The sensor must not be installed near electromagnetic fields, heat sources, or exposed to direct sunlight.
A maximum of 7 IR WI-XD sensors can be applied to a single X-Driver.
Diagrams and Tables
Fig. 1: Battery Installation
Illustrates the installation of a CR2450 battery into its holder, showing correct (+) and incorrect (X) orientations. It also displays the remote radio emitter (IR WI-XD) with its FCC ID (2AX76-IR-WI) and IC (26690-IRWI) information.
Fig. 2: Mounting the Emitter
Depicts the mounting of the remote radio emitter (IR WI-XD) using a bracket (A) and screws (B) onto a surface, indicating a height dimension H1.
Fig. 3: Material and Dimension Table
A table listing different materials (laminate, varnished, wood, glass, aluminium) with their finishes, maximum height (H max), and a secondary height dimension (H1).
Material | Finish | H max. | H1 |
---|---|---|---|
laminate | dark oak | 80-100mm | 20mm |
varnished | bright white | 140-160mm | 3mm |
wood | natural | 160-180mm | 3mm |
glass | extra light serigraphy | 80-100mm | 20mm |
glass | matt | 100-120mm | 3mm |
aluminium | brown | 80-100mm | 20mm |
Fig. 4: X-Driver Setup Example (Static Light)
Shows a typical setup for static lighting using an X-Driver, a CM2-XD module, and the IR WI-XD sensor. It illustrates connections and a maximum operating range of 8 meters.
Fig. 5: X-Driver TW Setup Example (Dynamic Light)
Shows a setup for dynamic TW lighting using an X-Driver TW, a CM2-XDTW module, a MOS distributor, and the IR WI-XD sensor. It also illustrates connections and a maximum operating range of 8 meters.
Coupling Procedures
Coupling with Static Light X-Driver (Module CM2-XD):
- Press the X-Driver button (C) until the blue signaling LED illuminates.
- Press the IR WI-XD button (D) until the signaling LED (E) remains steady.
- Briefly press button (D) again until the signaling LED (E) flashes once.
Coupling with Dynamic TW Light X-Driver (Module CM2-XDTW):
- Press the X-Driver button (C) until the blue signaling LED illuminates.
- Press the IR WI-XD button (D) until the signaling LED (E) remains steady.
- Briefly press button (D) twice until the signaling LED flashes twice.
Operation Modes
Limit Switch Operation (Static and Dynamic TW Light)
When the cabinet door covers the sensor (F) ?, the connected luminaires switch off. When the door opens, they switch on. To change operation from LIMIT SWITCH to DIMMER SWITCH, briefly press button (D).
Dimmer Switch Operation (Static Light)
- ON-OFF Function: Luminaires switch on/off by briefly moving your hand in front of the sensor (F).
- DIMMER and LEVEL MEMORY Functions: Keep your hand steady in front of the sensor (F) to adjust luminaire brightness. The selected brightness is stored until the next adjustment (LEVEL MEMORY). To change operation from DIMMER SWITCH to LIMIT SWITCH, briefly press button (D).
Colour Change Operation (Dynamic TW Light)
- Luminaires switch on/off by briefly moving your hand in front of the sensor (F).
- Keep your hand steady in front of the sensor (F) to vary the luminaire's colour hue. The selected colour is stored until changed again (Color Memory). To change operation from DIMMER SWITCH to LIMIT SWITCH, briefly press button (D).
Battery-Powered Devices Precautions
These precautions apply to all devices with disposable or rechargeable batteries. Improper use can lead to liquid leakage, overheating, or explosion. Battery liquid is corrosive, potentially toxic, and can cause burns to eyes and skin, and is harmful if swallowed.
To Reduce Risk of Injury:
- Keep batteries out of reach of children.
- Do not heat, open, modify, or throw batteries into fire.
- Avoid contact between metal items and battery terminals, as this can cause overheating and burns.
- Remove batteries when flat or before storing the device for extended periods. Always remove old, low-charge, or discharged batteries and recycle or dispose of them according to legal regulations.
- In case of liquid leakage, carefully remove the battery, preventing contact with skin or clothing. If leakage contacts skin or clothing, rinse exposed areas immediately with water.
- Use only batteries of the appropriate size and type.
Suffocation Hazard: This device contains small components that may pose a suffocation risk to children. Keep these components out of reach of children.
